[Hatred laughs already earning the reaction it wanted out of the other emotion, it reached into it's bag pulling out its GHOSTWALKER shoving the sharp an inch from Greed's face]

"I would rather NOT getting killed by two different versions of HATRED, thank you."

"...But why would I have any questions about a BODY that YOU stole???"

[It grimace at the mention of it's hesitation, They sigh staring at it for a moment before shrugging]

I dunno... guess I'm just trying to make small talk. Beside I thought you'd jump at the opportunity to hear yourself talk... UH stole anything good lately??

[GREED seemed to have already forgotten about IT's annoyance towards HATRED. Typical.]

[Hatred rolls their eyes, every Greed was the same... in some ways it's unchanging nature was comforting despite how equally infuriating it was to IT.]

[It pauses. Staring at Greed with a look he can't exactly decipher but it's certainly not a look it's ever worn before, it looks almost... sad.]

Can you just try and humor me... please? [They ask, their voice lacking it's typical bite]

[GREED goes silent, staring at HATRED with a stance that seems almost confused.]

"...What?"

"I'm sorry, I'm a bit confused- are YOU okay??? Do..do YOU need help??"

[There is genuine worry in GREED's voice, something that your average GREED wouldn't normally have.]

[Hatred's expression shifts, going from sad to looking like they might just cry in a matter of seconds.]

I- I don't knoww..... [It whines] I... I think I need help.....?? I- sor-

[It gives up on it's sentence, holding in it's tears... it just seems to be making itself more upset]

"$$$$ this is a horrible time to not know how to comfort people. Uh.."

"Is it the BODY?? Is IT making YOU feel THIS??"

[Hatred nodded slowly, it wrapped it's arms around itself in a weak attempt at self soothing... it didn't seem to be particularly effective. It stare at him, It lunged for him]

[Unlike Greed had initially expected Hatred had pull him into a tight hug]

[They buried their face into his fluff, they sobbed into it weakly. Muttering out hardly audible apologies through sobs and squeezing him so hard he might pop]

[GREED flinches, shocked from the sudden hug. IT freezes for a moment, before slowly returning the hug.]

"Woah- it's okay, it's okay- holy $$$$-"

"Uh..uh- YOU don't have to apologize- it's okay-"

[GREED has no idea what to do.]

[Regardless of Greed's words they continue to cry and blabber out apologies, clutching onto Greed protectively, like it would simply vanish into thin air if they let go]

I—... I'mmm... so s-sorryy..... [They sob, only slightly more audibly then before their grip growing ever so tighter they don't seem keen on letting go.]

[Surprisingly, this is not painful for GREED.]

[IT's arms wrap around HATRED in an attempt to provide comfort, not knowing what else to do.]

"Do..holy- it's okay..do YOU just want to..stay here-? For a little..??"

[Hatred nods into Greed's shoulder, making a couple small noise of confirmation]

Mhmm... I- thnakk youu..... [They bury their face further into Greed's neck, it had looked fluffy from a distance but they hadn't expected it to be THIS fluffy]

[It was safe to say Hatred had gotten pretty comfortable, even with the sobbing...]

[Despite GREED's confusion, and initial anger towards HATRED, IT seemed to not mind THEM digging THEIR face into ITs fluff.]

[As much as GREED was SCARED, deep down IT just wanted THEM to feel okay.]

[It wasn't exactly clear how much time had passed before Hatred was able to string together a vaguely coherent sentence again, it's grip around him loosed but it didn't fully let go]

[GREED laughs, trying to lighten the mood a little. Though IT was still confused, where did this version of HATRED come from? And why was IT here specifically?]

[Hatred slowly pulled away, wiping their eyes using their sleeve. God they couldn't imagine how bad they probably looked right now... they reached for their backpack pulling out a large wad of TIX and shoving into Greed's face]

[IT was even more confused now by the sudden switch in emotion, but IT decides not to question.]

Mhmm... I- thnakk youu..... [They bury their face further into Greed's neck, it had looked fluffy from a distance but they hadn't expected it to be THIS fluffy]

[It was safe to say Hatred had gotten pretty comfortable, even with the sobbing...]

[Unlike Greed had initially expected Hatred had pull him into a tight hug]

[They buried their face into his fluff, they sobbed into it weakly. Muttering out hardly audible apologies through sobs and squeezing him so hard he might pop]
