I found this video and thought y'all might find it interesting. Remember, as someone who has been and still is overfed as a child, itâs fucking abusive.

We need to spread this far and wide guys. Please do not like just reblog. I found this recently and I wish I found it sooner because it now serves as a huge motivator for me. When youâre overweight like me, it is so easy to fall into âbody positivityâ and fat acceptance because you can continue to point the blame on something else and not take action. I convinced myself that for a long time, it was my parents fault, it was the medication I take, I did not even think for a second that I was the problem. My very grotesque eating habits. Two boxes of pizza in one sitting. Large sodas. Food thatâs meant for a party were my breakfast lunch and dinner and late night snacks. I use this blog to motivate myself as well as others that you do you not want to be the average overweight person and be a part of a community that would rather make excuses than put in the work.
I wish I had found these videos sooner. To those who get offended and angry at what he says instead of feeling motivated then that means you are enabling yourself and a lot of other people. Health should not be controversial. Fat acceptance have no place in other communities. The reason why you see a fat acceptance post with over 80,000 reblogs and a anti fat acceptance with only 80 reblogs is because they pretend to be part of other groups, real groups fighting for real issues. An issue that can be fixed is not an issue. I want this to be my most reblogged post. Letâs get this to 100k because this needs to heard by more than a million people.

Also stop using fucking PCOS and Hypothyroidism as excuses. I have both, no joke. And I still manage to be a healthy weight. So stop finding excuses. The only one you have to blame for being obese is YOURSELF. You become obese from eating too much and not being active enough. Youâre the only one to blame for that and if you try and blame anything/anyone else frankly thatâs pathetic.Â
So true. My dad has hyperthyroidism and a whole shit-ton of medical issues and bottles upon bottles of medication. He used to way 260lbs (at the highest) but now, since someone is finally making him eat right and he isnât eating all crazy, heâs down to 190lbs and it didnât even take that long. Simple as that. Also, my cousin has PCOS and sheâs literally one of the slimmest people in our family because she just knows not to shovel food down. Lol.
Hey.
âSup, people. Iâve been gone for like, three months but I think Iâm back now. Iâll try and get back into my routine again. Bring on the love and bring on the hate.
The â5 lbs of fat = 1 brickâ image really gave me a wake up call. I kept visualizing strapping 17 bricks to my body and itâs not right. Iâm down 30 pounds as of today, only 50 more to go. Health is a long journey, but itâs worth it. Thank you so much.
Youâre very welcome, thatâs all Iâm here for. Keep up the good work and keep at your goal!Â
I don't think people understand how much work really goes into becoming a doctor. You spend 4 years getting an undergrad degree, 4 more years in med school, possibly another 2 years if you want to get into a speciality, 3-7 years in residency (where you're working 80+ hours a week and getting paid maybe $40,000 if you're lucky). By the time you're practicing, you're half a million dollars in debt, sleep deprived, and then you have to hear patients tell you that they know more than you.
Thereâs a real double standard nowadays when it comes to extremes of weight. Those who glorify being underweight, who encourage it, are vilified and denounced, rightfully. But those who glorify being overweight and who encourage that are praised and loved, and anyone who speaks against them are âfatphobicâ.
Neither extremes are healthy. Thereâs a reason they have âunderâ and 'overâ in their names.
What I want to do when I get hungry when Iâm high:
What I should actually do when Iâm high:
Me, putting an unholy amount of sugar in my coffee: what are you gonna do, give me diabetes? I have INSULIN, ha.
Person without diabetes: lol why do you hate math
Me, thinking about how I have small panic attacks whenever I see numbers above 270ish, about how my entire conscious memory has been defined by numbers and how âbadâ they are, about how one year my locker number was 580 and I literally couldnât think about it as that number, about how there are approximately 22 reasons as to why my blood sugars could be off at any given time, about how being repeatedly told youâre going to die as a child somehow makes life less fun: Iâm not good at it :/
Realizing you have high blood sugar is weird because suddenly, all your weird food cravings, thirst, headaches, mood swings, irritability, anger, and exhaustion from the last 3 hours make so much more sense
and itâs surprising every single time
Itâs always fun when you go from âhmmm Iâm not feeling anything major except tired and confusedâ when youâre actually dying, to OHMYGODIâMDYING IâMDYING IâMDYIIIIINNNNGGGGGGGG when your numbers get more normal (dare I say: go back in range?)
Me, having just pulled a needle out of my body and starting to bleed profusely: iâm having technical difficulties :)))
