Fluff headcanons with Saku Natsusawa.
Natsusawa notices.It's a constant thing,he can't help it,he doesn't hate it but it also makes him overthink to much.He is an observant with the fear of being seen.You are no different,he sees small things about you and can't forget it,even worse,it keeps him awake at night.
How you talk to the random street cats with your cute voice,how you call them "baby" before you pet their head,how you text slower when you are painting your nails,how you smile to that one specific compliment about your hair,how you always read that one book when you want comfort.
Natsusawa doesn't immidiatly respond to the messages in the group chat.He looks at them from the notification,decides if it's an emergency or not,joins in the conversation when he feels like he might say something.He tries not to leave people on seen.But when he sees your name on the screen? Suddenly he's interested about the conversation whether popcorn or boiled corn is better.And he actually answers to texts,even if it's you sending a meme to the group chat at 2 am.
Natsusawa gives you the better part of things.At first he thought that it's the guilt in him again,that he doesn't deserve it or doesn't want to be seen selfish.But later on he realized that it was just you.He gave you the part of the dessert with more chocolate,he let you have the first and last bite,he gives you the bigger half,he hands you the warmer tea,he gives you the window seat even tho how much he hates sitting in the outside seat.It's about the tiny sacrifices.
Natsusawa sees you everywhere.Not just when he's looking for you in a crowded room,but when he's looking at the most random things too.When he sees a calico cat,he always remembers how you told him calico cats were most likely always a female.When he is looking for books at the bookstore,he either buys or takes a picture of a book he knows you would love to buy later.When his sisters are shopping and he's too bored,he can't help but look at the stuff and think those would look good on you.
Natsusawa is ALWAYS a acts of service guy.He holds the doors open for you without realizing,he holds your bag that's definitely doesn't fit his style,he keeps two hair ties on his wrists,one for you and the other one for himself,he warns you about bringing your jacket then hands you his jacket without a thought when you are cold.
Natsusawa knows when you are overwhelmed.Its how observant he is and he knows how it's like to feel that way.When you are unusually quiet,when your words come out forced,when you hate the loud noise and your arms hug yourself.He glances at you,takes your sleeve and gently guides you somewhere less crowded.
Being quiet doesn't feel like a problem with you,talking is not a chore.He doesn't feel like he's bringing down the mood,he doesn't feel weird.Because you could never make him feel that way.He doesn't have to participate,he can exist in peace without worrying about his silence.
