I feel like people get confused seeing Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion on my "favorite games of all time" list next to the likes of Bloodborne, Shadowbringers and Snake Eater, but what you have to understand is that it's really that good and it touched me deep in my soul and it made me want to be myself in a way I can't fully articulate

Octo Expansion is one part and excellent take on Splatoon's gameplay and systems, and one part a tale of escape from an oppressive homeland and into something new and fresh that allows you to be yourself wholly. Like, the main character has their actual soul changed by a piece of music and they seek that out, it's so powerful
