i still get asked about twilight just about daily, so sadly i doubt it will go away anytime soon for you. people have a hard time moving on. but out of curiosity, did you have the doll at one point? hey, lying in interviews has always worked for me.

Oh, wow! if Twilight hasn’t faded for you by now, I have no hope of ever escaping a homicidal doll. People latch onto the thing that scared them the most and never let it go. And no, I never had the doll, thankfully! I feel like if I’d taken her home, she’d have ended up sitting at the foot of my bed just to mess with me.

so do you still have the doll, or..? but seriously, i'm surprised you're getting that the most. if I had to guess, I would have thought girls would be the project they'd never stop asking about, especially now with lena's book just coming out. but let me know if the lying thing works out for ya, I might have to use it myself on an upcoming press tour, myself.

Oh, I definitely don’t have the doll. I feel like if I kept her in my house, she’d end up sitting in a different chair every morning and I’d have to move. But yeah, that’s the question I get the most lately. I thought it would be Girls, too. Especially with Lena’s book dropping and everyone suddenly remembering we traumatized an entire generation of twenty‑somethings. But no. It’s all M3GAN, all the time. I definitely will let you know how lying about it goes!

I swear every interview I’ve done this month has circled back to M3GAN. I’ll be talking about something completely unrelated and suddenly someone’s asking if I ‘still have the doll.’ At this point I’m tempted to start lying just to see how fast TMZ picks it up.
