Im not sure if you’re open for asks on this or anything, but I was wondering how you got started in book binding, ive been wanting to start for a really long time but I could never really find any good resources for a first timer, if you have any other blogs or websites which have advice for beginners would it be to much to ask for some direction to them? Or, if you have the spoons for it/just want to, do you have any tips on how to start out?
Hi :), sorry, I hope this reply hasn't come to late. It's been a while since I was on this site. I'd be happy to give advice. I first started when I found a book on handmade books and thought I would give it a shot. I found Sea Lemon on YouTube soon after. She is great to learn from she has many different binding techniques and is clear in her instructions, once you have the basic techniques you can experiment with all types of looks. I have recently got into making junk journals as well and have found treasure books to be a good channel for that type of style if that is something that interests you. I hope this helps :)
Handmade junk journal. It's my first proper one. I spent quite a bit of time on it, had a lot of fun :)
