BEST. DAY. EVER. Waited in line almost 3 hours just to get in this castle. (To be honest I didn't know what the line was for, I just fell in line 'cause there was a line and if you haven't figured out yet I'm kind of stupid.) But it turned out to be the most magical (there really is no other word for it) experience of my life. Entering the castle, seeing the talking portraits, the entrance to the Gryffindor dormitory, the headmaster's office, the pensieve, the sorting hat! Only a Potterhead would understand... how we all dreamed of getting into Hogwarts. How we all knew that the Wizarding World can't be real but also believed (I still believe) that it is. How we wished for an acceptance letter even when we were already past 17. How we all memorized and practiced the spells, hoping that someday we can visit Ollivander's and get our own wand. How we've all craved for butterbeer and imagined how it tastes everytime our 'friends' visit Hogsmeade. Alone in that 3D 'broomstick,' I had to reach out to Harry Potter and cry, literally shout his name and burst into tears (yup, very hormonal). I love being alone. But I did not plan to be alone this week. It just happened that way. And traveling alone can be a challenge if you're a walking disaster. But in those few minutes, while flying with Harry, slaying dragons and casting patronus, it didn't feel so lonely. I was with a childhood friend, reliving our 7 beautiful years in Hogwarts. And it was... just like magic.
