Hey! I absolutely loved the humanised art of Lightning McQueen you posted! I have to ask though, I'm super curious if you have any reasoning behind the scars that you gave him?

Thank you! I gave him scars on his arms and legs to match the spots where he blew his tires in his first race in the first movie. I know he technically only blew his back tires, but since I made him more of an athlete as a human, I thought that if he suffered some kind of leg injury on a track, he would likely fall forward and hurt his arms as well. I wanted it to be a permanent reminder of his early cockiness and naïveté as opposed to being able to “replace” car parts that were damaged as a result 🙏🏼
