If a guy did any of these things to a girl it would be considered abuse but since its the other way around its considered normal. Throughout High school I saw many girl treating their boyfriends like shit. Sometime even physically abusing them in the hallways and no one trying to stop it because its a girl attacking a boy. 

Boys: If your girlfriend does anything on this list leave her. It is abuse and you deserve better.

being rude or mean to him in front of others to assert dominance or power over him

downloading apps to spy on his phone activity (yes, this is a thing “”regular”” people do) or snooping on his social media to see who he’s talking to

hitting him, slapping him, punching him, shoving him. literally how do people not understand slapping your male partner is bad. people tend to find this funny in media and society and its weird. KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF YOUR PARTNER WITHOUT PERMISSION. 

I come from a family of very forward and manipulative women and i see it in media all the time. it’s fucked and people need to not be accepting of young girls acting like snot-nosed, abusive shit heads that think they can get away with manipulation and cruelty because they happen to be girls.

Women/young girls can definitely be just as abusive. I knew a young man that got ran over and had his leg broken by his girlfriend because (in her words he annoyed her) He refused to press charges. Another young lady started to hit her ex boyfriend because he wouldn’t take her back because of the abuse. He called the cops on her and they literally started laughing at him because she was very petite in comparison to him. Anyone can be abusive and I wish more people understood that.

I knew a guy whose girlfriend physically kept him from pulling out during sex and they ended up with an unplanned kid. And that can be a manipulative tactic to keep you in the relationship. Because when kids get involved it becomes a fuckin mess man. I’ve seen tooooo many relationships fuck up because of kids. And I’ve known plenty of women that are like “if we have a baby he’ll HAVE to stay”. And that’s fucked up. That’s fucked up for the dude, fucked up of the girl to do, and fucked up for the kid.

Also seconding spoonmeb’s statement about queer girls. I was stalked and harassed by a friend who was queer when I was younger (at the time I IDed as straight and I was in a relationship, she didn’t care). I would never have let it get as far as it did if she had been a dude. There’s this underlying thing of “girls are safe” in our society and female abusers get an advantage because of that.

If you have a partner doing this consider if you would allow them to continue this behavior if they were male. Consider if you would let that shit slide.

Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris is on fire. I’m not posting a pic bc it depresses me too much to look at it but here’s a source if you need one. Some things:

The fire started because of renovation work. It’s an accident, as far as anybody knows.

Because of the renovation work, a lot of the art (statues and things like that) in the cathedral had already been removed. Firefighters are working to save as much as possible

The stonework will probably survive 

This isn’t the first time the cathedral has been damaged. It’s 900 years old, and France has had a pretty bloody history in that time.

At this point the roof and spire are completely destroyed and the stained glass is lost

it’s awful. It’s awful to look at. It’s a horrible loss to all of us. Being sad is normal and you don’t have to feel stupid if you feel sad. 

It’s been rebuilt before and it’ll be rebuilt again.

I’m glad this is spreading but simultaneously it makes it sound like the shadowban is much less severe than it is because I didn’t realize, and this shadowban is so severe I can’t even add on / tell anyone that.

When I like or rb things it doesn’t show notes in someone’s activity / dash, except long-time followers (not sure about the exact cutoff/conditions).

If I reblogged and added something to this from a non-follower they wouldn’t even know. Check and see: my rb’s don’t even show up in the notes. So people couldn’t even find out I added something on by checking the notes either:
