THE PRINCESS BRIDE 1987, dir. Rob Reiner
Objectively one of the best books/films ever made
All things that you should not have to be rich in order to do
#those things shouldnât be fucking pipe dreams!
Well, that last one is very achievable without being super wealthy, honestly...
See, this is funny to me because "Joust" comes from the medieval french term "Joster" (derived from latin iuxtare), which means "to approach and meet"
It's funny because you don't Joster your friend at the club because you're too busy Joster-ing strange men at the joster and judging your friend for not Joster-ing you at the Joster instead
I feel like whenever I world build for my dnd homebrew I always have to rewrite something in order to make it fit. The amount of work I had to do was just annoying and tiring but I had to do it in order for the story hooks to exist. Am o the only one who does this?
I used to. I found that not getting too attached to a certain thing is the key. You can never account for players (even if you write the most epic and enthralling campaign ever) and something you spent (potentially hundreds of) hours on gets missed completely. I found writting deep and fleshed out world's is fun but makes D&D a nightmare. I'll still use home-brew worlds as settings but they're usually half a blank canvas as to let improv lead the way.

Interview with the Vampire (1994)
Probably the best role Tom Cruise had ever played imo
Reenactor throws a spear at a drone
What a time to be alive.
âThe medieval warrior, realizing the consequences of his impulsive act, immediately approached the owner of the drone and offered to pay for the damage.
The owner of the drone was so impressed by the brilliant attack that he suggested organizing a competition for bringing down âdragonsâ with short spears next year.
Drone owners have another year to develop a unique âdragon-likeâ design for their flying machines.â (x)
I am 100% cooler with this knowing that the spear-thrower realized âoops maybe I shouldnât have done thatâ and tried to make it right, and that the guy who the drone belonged to was cool with it
just so everyone knows, this has already been memorialized in a runestone

Iâve finally plucked up the courage to post some art here! This is a little painting of Nana the cat that I made in clip studio paint which Iâve just started using and have been really enjoying :)Â
