AFTG Headcanons
Tilda owned a bipolar disorder, Andrew inherited that too (Aaron didn’t).
Neil drinks milk tea the way his mom made it before they ran. He didn’t realize until he was 12 that not everyone does that — and it blew his mind. Andrew calls it “tea abuse.”
Andrew likes coffee with milk/cream and sugar. Neil drinks it black.
Jean ended up as Kevin’s daughter’s godfather because literally no one else would do it (he asked Andrew first — Andrew said no).
Nicky didn’t just think about suicide, he actually tried once, but Erik stopped him.
Erik is pan.
Jean hates kids. They annoy the hell out of him.
Allison is a dog person.
Renee will be the godmother of Allison’s kid.
Neil collects ashtrays from every trip with Andrew. Now their house has one in basically every room.
Andrew started wearing glasses about a year after Aaron, but he denied needing them for the longest time.
Andrew secretly loves reading.
Aaron loves licorice. Andrew despises it.
Andrew has touch starvation, and Neil helped him through it.
In the future, Jean and Jeremy will have a garden and a couple of peach trees.
Renee loves black metal.
Cody, Patrick, and Ananya will one day own pet rats.
Kevin is allergic to cats.
Thea sometimes straps Kevin. It was his idea.
Aaron and Andrew both have really neat handwriting. Kevin’s is straight-up doctor handwriting. Neil’s is messy like a toddler’s.
Wymack went gray early. At first he tried to cover it up (with Abby’s help), but eventually he gave up and embraced it.
Kevin’s daughter calls Abby “Grandma.”
Nicky has a special ringtone for Erik: Don’t Try Suicide by Queen. Erik set it for him when they were 17 after Nicky’s attempt. Nicky never changed it and just transfers it to every new phone.

Patrick is pan, Ananya is omni, Cody is bi.
Min is the only straight and cis member of the Floozies.
Abby is naturally brunette but dyes her hair blonde (yep, just like Jeremy).
Kaitlyn overshared about Aaron to her sister, so the sister doesn’t trust him. She never told their parents though, so they’re actually pretty positive toward Aaron.
Patrick wears glasses.
Jean tried to cover his scars with tattoos. In the end, most of his body is inked.
Over time, Neil learned to love his scars and became proud of them. He never hides them anymore. Every time he looks in the mirror he thinks: “I survived. I made it.”
Erik’s parents treat Nicky like a second son and love him so much.
They’ll never understand how Nicky’s parents could treat him like that. In their worldview, you love your kid no matter what (as long as they’re not doing anything illegal or harmful — and loving someone clearly doesn’t fall under that).
The first time Erik’s parents met the twins in person was at Nicky and Erik’s wedding. Before that, they just knew they existed and were important to Nicky despite being complicated. They were pleasantly surprised when they found out the twins had actually learned German with Nicky’s help.
