Athena was seated at a bar with a mixed drink sitting in front of her, she had been drinking and dancing since she had arrived. Beside her, she caught a glimpse of a stranger sitting as well. She could definitely use someone to talk to right about now, especially since she hadn’t really met anyone new yet. “You here alone?” She speaks a little loud to make herself heard, the music was pounding so talking normally wouldn’t do.

“So what if I am?” Aiden snapped, eyes staring at the glass containing scotch in front of him. This entire Hawaii trip hadn’t been doing anything for him lately and he’s slowly starting to regret coming here.

God, I’ve been searching high and low for you, and you’d just fallen off the face of the earth! Well I would of taken you with me, had you been around – you would have had the time of your life, late night swimming, cocktails on the beach, tans, and a lot of drugs.

I genuinely do not know where I’ve been, if I’m being honest. I think I took the bus to Toronto and kind of went to every club there and then I remember sleeping at a McDonalds... My mind goes blank after that. I probably had a lot of fun, though, yeah? Fuck. That sounds like my personal heaven but I’m sure we can do that in Hawaii. You’re gonna go, right? I need you to go with me.

“Hawa-hi.” Aiden greeted happily, expression open and delighted. “I love Hawaii.. I’m so excited. I already paid. You’re going, right? I’d assume so given the fact that you just said it would be lots of fun.” His face nearly splits in two as he rambled at Kayla -- clearly he had far too much to smoke earlier. “I’d love a mimosa -- gimme.”

Axel was idly whistling as he carried a box of paint pots to his art classroom. He wasn’t properly looking where he was going and a few steps later he tripped over- he managed to regain his balance and save himself from a fall, but the same couldn’t be said for two pots of black paint that fell from the box and landed on his- very white- shoes. Axel winced as they made a loud clattering sound against the ground and the glass pots shattered- allowing the paint to spill onto his feet and form a puddle on the floor. “The one day I decide to wear these shoes- the one day. Typical.” He muttered angrily to himself. It wasn’t even the shoes that he was the most annoyed about- it was the fact that he now had to clean up this mess, which he really didn’t want to do. Axel quickly made his way to the bathroom to grab a bunch of paper towels before walking back to the corridor. When he returned he saw someone else standing in the hallway so he turned to them and smiled, “Hey, I’d be eternally grateful if you could help me clean up this disaster; I’d really owe you one. So- do you think you could help me out a bit here?” He asked hopefully, holding up some paper towels- if he had someone to help him he could get it cleaned up and get out of there a lot quicker.

Day drinking was probably not something Aiden should be doing -- especially not when he has a chemistry lecture early tomorrow morning but here he was, stumbling around the hallways after a round of shots at the Underground. As he roamed the nearly empty halls, he managed to stumble upon a giant puddle of black... paint? He wasn’t quite sure nor was he sober enough to figure out what the substance was. I’d be eternally grateful if you could help. His head snapped up when someone spoke up -- the guy in front of him was holding paper towels and Aiden’s eyebrows furrowed in confusion. Why was this man offering him paper towels? Did he have something on his -- oh. Oh. The weird black stuff on the floor. Right. “Yeah sure,” Aiden murmured happily, grabbing the paper towels from Axel’s grip. “I’m the best cleaner.. I’m so clean. I’ll fix this right up,” he chirped, pointing a finger at the other boy.

So on my way back from the Dominican, I ran into the biggest idiot I’ve ever met, I mean it kinda saved my ass because he didn’t know what the pills were in my bag, so I guess I owe him some thanks. But either way he made my return much more stressful. I must say, I have missed the snow a bit.

Oh Essie, I’ve missed you dearly. I’m a little upset I missed this trip to the Dominican, though. Next time you go make sure you drag my ass along with you because Queen’s is such a bore when you’re not around.

I got to say I’m a little disappointed with how shitty this last weekend was. I mean are we in high school or senior living because?

You know, usually I’d tell you to suck it up but I’ve got to agree with you. I was holed up in my room because I was so fuckin’ ill and then I had all these assignments due. It was crazy but how about all of us go out and do something wild this weekend? Here’s to hoping no one dies this time.

“Um,” Aiden fumbles, his voice is pretending to be so light and casual that it’s actually two octaves higher than normal and his eyes are so intense and unblinking as they stare into Rosalind’s. “Heart attack on a bun?” He mutters weakly, eyes glancing towards the menu behind her. “Do you guys have... any healthy, vegetarian options?”
