A dream
Don’t break yourself to fix someone else
Typewriter Series #2506 by Tyler Knott Gregson
Text for Tired Eyes:
Restless, you, when stuck inside or handcuffed to routine, when stillness is forced upon you.
Lost, me, when surrounded by noise, when stolen are the chances to disappear into quiet, into the maze of my mind, safe in its shadowed halls, the fog that never lifts.
I’ll understand you wandering out, vanishing into the hillsides, the mountains, the forests. Be patient when I fall away without moving an inch, when I forget to surface from the depths.

Light Appears to Drip from Trees in these Long-Exposure Photos by Vitor Schietti
woke up at 5:30 - dressed - drank a glass of water - grabbed my g(f)ear and went out in the cold to shoot the moon - hope you like it
a note to self
“Because forever is in your eyes, but forever ain’t half the time I wanna spend with you.”
Typewriter Series #2477 by Tyler Knott Gregson
Text for Tired Eyes:
I’ll keep writing, shouting out into the space between you and I, hoping you’ll hear but secretly (now the secret is out) not really minding if you don’t. It’s not for you (though I think you think it is), it’s for me, it’s coins thrown into the jingling cup of the vagabond in my mind, just enough to quiet him, not enough to make me poor. I’m not afraid (really, this time, I am not) of being forgotten, I don’t think I’ll change this world (after all I am small) or rearrange the way we think of words (all I am is words).
They’ll be here (they’ve always been even when you aren’t) and I’ll keep pouring them out (sometimes I’m wrung so nearly dry) even if they stay unread. One day (some day) you’ll forget that you forgot and you’ll hear my name (all three, for my grandfather lives in the middle) and wonder if you knew me, once (once is enough), in another life.
