If there is a will, there is a way! Old cardboard and calendars are my new best friends. It was also scary doing it because I was situated near the stairs. Thankfully, I didn’t fall. Praise the Lord for small mercies.

Teacups
Glazes: White at the bottom and interior; tenmoku with teadust at the top; dots of nutmeg, shiny green and celadon
Jar 3
So far my fave jar because of the colors. It’s underfired but I still like how it turned out.
Glazes: nutmeg, shiny green details and bright blue at the interior
Jar 1
I wish II used more bright blue for this the glaze.
Glazes: Matte white and bright blue at the exterior; white, shiny green and bright blue at the interior.
Jar 4
Ok I had a hard time lifting and choking but hahaha I made it!
Glazes: white and nutmeg. The green at the middle is a thin nutmeg glaze over white
Jar 2
Ok that was my carelessness. Sorry lips.
Glazes: shiny green, a line of thin celadon and white at the bottom
Plate 2
This one is much better. I also like the drips because it looks like a face.
Glazes: white and shiny green (Where’s the celadon girl?!)
Plate 1
Ah yes, the plate. If I remember correctly this one was thrown during my birthday. So it’s my birthdaymate. This one is technically my second plate because the first one died due to incorrect dislodging.
Glazes: white, tenmoku with teadust and shiny green (blue!)
Bowl 5
The extra bowl! So our professor only required us to make 4 bowl but I wanted to make another one to make up for the sake bowl thing. I also made impressions using a fondue stick to make it look like a coral.
Glazes: white and tenmoku with tea dust
(I just realized that I LACK CELADON IN MY COLLECTION)
Bowl 4
Again, I love widening and I love how the glaze turned out. It’s underfired but I still love the accidents.
Glazes: nutmeg, shiny green and i forgot what the brown is (it will eventually come to me)
Bowl 3
Still had a hard time lifting it but I did enjoy widening. I played a lot with the brush to get the glaze to turn out like that.
Glazes: White, nutmeg and tenmoku with teadust
Bowl 2
It was supposed to be a bowl but it turned out to be a small sake cup. Hilarious.
Glazes: Shiny green with dabs of tenmoku with tea dust
Bowl 1
After throwing cups, we moved on to making bowls. I had a hard time centering for a long time. To my surprise, we discovered that I was actually a right kicker and not a leftie. When I was making cups I was kicking with my left foot the whole time. The pain. I wish I had known sooner.
I’m also pretty happy with how the glaze turned out.
Cup 4
Finally learned how to lift with this one. It wasn’t smooth but at least at got to the top and it’s a decent sized cup.
Glazes: tenmoku with teadust and white for the interior; going down slop, white and tenmoku with teadust for the exterior
Cup 3
Still no better. At least the bottom is smoother. I really had a hard time lifting back then.
Glazes: nutmeg for the interior; shiny green (blue) and matte white for the exterior
My second cup
Still too small and not tumbler sized.
Glazes: White and shiny green (it turns blue when it’s fired tho)
My first cup.
This was the first time I got to use the wheel. It’s hilarious that the size required was as big as a tumbler and I made it as small as a teacup.
Glazes: Matte white and slop
