ceramic glazes are magical ✨
Ceramics art dump time! My handmade bowls & plates have been doing some serious heavy lifting, making extremely ordinary meals look 🔥 Sgraffito and underglaze really plays to my 2D art background! I've been experimenting with applying underglaze after firing, then wiping back so that it's just in the crevasses, to get an aged look. Aside from the rectangular plate, these are all my wheel thrown stoneware, fired to cone 10.
I think these are fire (they’ve been fired)
I complained a lot about how the blues came out but some of these other combos turned out really cool
These are the new glazes I bought and I’m so fuuuuuucking excited to see them fired
