Drew a little something that I started a while back in celebration of Revenge of the Fifth as well as to the conclusion of season one of the Maul, Shadow Lord series! Originally had this planned for May the Fourth but this took a little longer than anticipated.

LONG TIME NO STAR WARS!

so yeah, I’m really digging Maul: Shadow Lord. Episode 3’s fight with Devon had one of the best beats and visuals I’ve seen in an animated Star Wars show since Ahsoka’s and Maul’s fight in the Clone Wars finale! This shot especially stayed with me, so I wanted to recreate it a bit more abstraclty!

Also I love Devon, she’s the best grumpy baby!

I really like how Zabrak women are just not as cunty as zabrak men. The women are grey-ish, with just lines along their faces and horns not as pointy. WHILE MEN??? Birds. they are literally like birds. Colourful and dynamic, visible patterns and big pointy horns. I’m literally sure they do the mating dances to attract women. fuck it, it’s canon. Dave Filoni appeared on the moon disc tonight and lovingly whispered to me that it’s canon.

"72 hours were it not for some regulatory hold ups" I hope this makes it crystal fucking clear to everyone. This is a metal box shitily put together with 0 regard to the people that will be forced inside it. It took them 8 days WITH regulations, and what you see is 1500 bunk beds put into a metal cage within a bigger metal cage. It's optimised to take away people's comfort and privacy.

And if they didn't have regulations it would have been worse.

Building this in 8 days isn't impressive. It's a disgusting testament to the lengths of cruelty people will go to just to lock up and torture and harm anyone who isn't white.

Make noise about this. Never stop making noise until everyone can live safely. This is disgusting.

My Scarlett prince au that I really should just write out at this point.

Notes, TW for horror themes, eye truama and slight self body mutilation(only in the writing tho):

Cory wears a porcelain camera mask. Theres no actual lense, only thick black glass that kinda looks like one. When he wears the mask the "lense" glows red and develop a pupil that moves around in accordance with where he's looking. The mask itself isn't anomalous tho, its just him.

The reason for said mask is bc in this au Hooper's robo parts are actually from Cory's face. Cory ripped his own camera face off to fuse them into Hooper to save his life after he got injured by rubble from an explosion Cory caused in his pain filled state.

Cory doesn't talk much, mostly he emits emotive sounds. Think little character noises from an unvoiced game, little giggles and sound effects almost. He can speak tho- and his voice is slightly distorted.

Alice was unwittingly recruited as Hooper and Cory's third wheel when she stumbled upon Cory saving Hooper, mistook it for an attack and shot Cory. Cory got pissy and would've killed her but recognized her as the one overseeing is medical treatments and so spared her as a thank you for attempting to save him(he thinks). However as penance he poured the blood from his gunshot wound into her eye. Now everything in that eye is blurry and gray and white and red- and she's "hallucinating", totally hallucinating(she can now see dead people in that eye)

Vague concepts for a kaijudo infection au bc the mlp infection au craze has me addicted

Additional info

Alakshmi: the attempted amputations and hospital gown are from the Choten’s attempts at stopping the infection. Infused with the shield and sword artifacts from nature and fire.

Ray: found mid “turning” by Chavez who attempted to mercy kill him but failed. infused with the cloak and heart artifacts from light and darkness.

Both: he and Alakshmi stole four of the artifacts and ran out into a battlefield to keep infected monsters back and buy time for an evacuation, ended up the last two on the battlefield.

Infection is tied to and caught by use of mana, once the infection began every use became a gamble unless it is a particularly large use of mana. Some infected die some become mutated, It was not discovered that humans could mutate until Ray and Alakshmi, before them every attempted human ended up dying mid infection

Infection ruins the mind of the “turned”, warps their perspectives and morals, making them loyal to each other, but aggressive towards non-infected.
