and what would peaceful mode be in minecraft. what part of the lore would it be? would it be before or after the storm? would it be when everything's gone extinct, save for the few overworld mobs? the nether nothing but a barren wasteland with not a single soul left but the sand and soil you walk upon?

the nights are silent. too silent. the footsteps you hear behind you are not mobs trying to kil you. the cave noises are not any active threats. they shouldn't be. there are no threats here.

the caves are empty. they're nothing but endless tunnels and ravines. they are not dangerous anymore. there is nothing there; the most you will find is a bat.

and the deep darks. the shriekers shriek for nothing. they are warning you for a danger that is not there. the warden will not come. it did not hear them; it is not there.

the piglins do not care about their riches anymore. you can take as much as you see fit. they will not lay a single sword or arrow on you. for what reason are they so apathetic?

the fortresses that were once brimming with hostile life now sit dormant. they are nothing but empty bridges and hallways. there is not a single soul here to lay the smallest of scratch on you.

spawners do not spawn any mobs. there is nothing here. what happened for them to stop working? what made them work in the first place?

the end is barren. there is nothing here. the only living souls that remain are shulkers and the dragon. the endermen are long gone. the shulkers do not attack you. they dare not guard the cities they reside in any longer.

what happened? what caused the lingering apathy, what caused the extinction of so many beings? or is it before the world turned hostile? i suppose we won't know better than guessing..

i think youre thinking of a 12 eye portal? you can't obtain any blaze powder whatsoever in peaceful mode (unless you're playing in the few specific versions where cleric villagers can trade eyes), so 8 eyes would be 4 eyes too short.

in 1.16 all the 12 eye portal seeds have been found and i'm pretty sure a majority, if not all of them, are seeds that minecraft's seed generator can't actually give you, which would make it impossible. i'm not sure about other versions, we only have all the 12 eye seeds for 1.16 because thats the main speedrunning version.

but even outside of that, in other versions, the general chance of a 12 eye portal is 0.0000000001%, so i doubt anyone is ever complete, or even enter the end in a legit, random seed, no cheats peaceful mode world.

of course this isn't factoring in glitched portals where a portal ISN'T a 12 eye but still generated some portal frames because of eyes generating in a chunk, but that's also insanely rare and i doubt it's anything someone's gonna come across, again, in a legit random seed run.

Maybe its a state of superposition, a timeline can both exist in a state where hostile creatures exist, and don't exist explaining why they can be brought back into existence when switching off of peaceful, I really wanna think more about this because I plan to make a sort of collective idea on how I think Minecrafts universe works, including the physics of falling blocks and why water acts the way it does and these are exactly the kind of questions I wanna consider in that, could it be that mobs inherently work on a seperate plane of existence from all other Minecraft creatures and that's why they can be banished from peaceful? Or is peaceful simply the suspension of hostile population, does this count as death or displacement? If I recall pillagers are erased by peaceful aswell, and witches, meaning if a villager is struck by lightning in peaceful it just vanishes, which could mean that peaceful mode is a sort of realital exclusion of hostile concepts entirely, how does one wipe an entire category of life, only to allow its return, without that being the result of extinction and revival? It could be that mobs don't die, they just aren't there anymore

typically the baby plane's immune system would be built through nursing and again later with saliva transferal during feeding (this species / model feeds similar to penguins after a phase of exclusively nursing) but without a plane mother we must be very careful when first introducing the infant to a new environment. the same goes for light exposure, as the infant planes (of this species) would spend the first few weeks tucked under the mother plane's winglets, only emerging at night. this of course makes flying more difficult for her and is why mother planes are largely grounded for the fledgling period . occasionally survival calls for a liftoff anyway and this is why runt planes can sometimes tumble onto the runway where the mother must make the difficult to decision to circle back or to leave them behind in the interest of the rest of the litter
