I think I’ve figured out what Maggie’s misspelling means
Ok so I’m sure we’re all aware by now of the Maggie-Nina parallel with Maggie being Crowley and Nina being Aziraphale.
But one thing I don’t see talked about a lot is the link between Maggie not being able to pay the rent and Crowley being homeless - the main difference being, Maggie manages to keep her home.
And it’s because she communicates.
Maggie talked to Aziraphale, and her rent struggles were solved. No, she’s not perfect at communicating, hence the misspelling, but she tried anyway and it worked.
This idea of communication is revealed very early on, and comes back when Maggie and Nina tell Crowley that they aren’t ready to start a relationship just yet, because Nina is still getting over her toxic ex.
This is just like Aziraphale and his need to get over heaven before being with Crowley. But again, the difference is….
Maggie and Nina communicate!
Aziraphale needs time apart from Crowley to get over heaven, but if they actually talked about it then it would be so much less messy, and Crowley would 100% wait for him (like Maggie says about Nina). What they need to do has been right in front of them the whole time.
So Maggie and Nina aren’t just a parallel of Crowley and Aziraphale, they’re a parallel of what Crowley and Aziraphale could be if they TALKED TO EACH OTHER!!!!!
