Okay I’m glad Sonny Digital mentioned this. Hip hop producers (more than 70% of the reason we like certain songs today) like Sonny Digital, Metro Boomin, Zaythoven, or even those who produce those summer hits that may only be a one hit wonder, receive no recognition, no BET award, no Grammy for Best Hip Hop Producer, no XXL cover, as they are more than half the reason why most people on this years cover are there anyway. They deserve to be recognized for being the foundation of black music culture.
