  real name is Amara, though most call her Doctor, Dr. Amara, or teacher in some cases. even was called a clown once! 

 has a doctorate in neurology, as well as having done extensive research in medical fields, trying to search for a cure to Oripathy, a unique disease from the world she hails from and spends a lot of her free time dedicated to such research and working on numerous theses, assisting in overseeing departments, etc etc

is a workaholic. like, ‘married to work’ level of workaholic it doesn’t matter that they’re weak and still in recovery they WILL spend many many hours working 

has amnesia! a result of being placed in a special sarcophagus to heal for three years after receiving life threatening injuries during a ‘decapitation strike’ ordered on someone they worked with by the name of Theresa

was one of the original members of BABEL along with Kal’tsit and Theresa, acting as a guardian of sorts to a young Amiya and the forces Commander. some call Amara  ‘ the Ghost of Babel’ for this

is blamed/thought to have a hand in Theresa’s death, though the exact truth regarding this is still unknown and they themselves cannot remember

back to the amnesia– everything prior to being placed inside the sarcophagus? they’ve forgotten it. Amara cannot recall most all of her memories and it leads to a constant contradiction of things that she feels and understand

she’s extremely smart though. ever come up with a formula to predict Catastrophes? very sexy

had an inhumane reputation prior to her memory loss but, despite this, also had a humane side.

is still in recovery from the injuries sustained so long ago. Amara takes special medication prescribed by Kal’tsit for this and also normally wears protective gear. they’re so weak they cannot even lift a shield a centimeter off the ground but they are an amazing military strategist– some think they use Arts or are a prophet because of this

will willingly get themselves arrested, no they will not apologize for it, they will simply handle it rip to everyone else Amara is simply built different

did i mention their blood can be used as an emergency oripathy suppressant? the more you know

    “ Amazing. Even if the cores are fundamentally different, their minds maturing in an enviroment outside of the norm, shared aspects between the two remain still.” it really was fascinating, but they wonder if this is was Kalt’sit or Amiya sees. crimson eyes narrow, one eyebrow raising as she continues to observe the other Doctor move back and forth, busy with a pile of files and books that she is sure hasn’t dwindled in the past four hours.

          libraries do hold a lot of knowledge, but, even so--

           IT   was the only sound to indicate her arrival, yet it managed to slice through the frenzied static with ease. Truth be told, the Doctor was… actually holding their own. She recognized the weapon they’d chosen, the long pole with an ax blade at the end— halberd. It seems it was true what was said about the weapons giving superhuman capabilities… because Surtr found it difficult to believe the Doctor could have felled a couple of CPNs on their own, much less held at least a semblance of a chance against one of these bolstered Ofiuclones, if it were otherwise.

           But now she was here — and that not only leveled the playing field, but razed it to the ground. 

           Magma already drips from her blade like a potent poison, the familiar weight hoisted over her shoulder as if it were lighter than a sack of potatoes. One swing is enough to stagger the clone who dares to try and find the Doctor’s weak points, the ground cracking and hissing under the weight of such tremendous heat. It would keep the clone at bay for a few precious moments, at least, if it had any self-preservation. This leaves Surtr free to turn her gaze on her companion instead, a hint of a smile on her lips despite her chiding tone.

       ❛   Is your phone broken, Doctor ?  Surely you did not think picking up a flashy weapon would put you on par with me ?  Now here I am, having to pick up your slack nevertheless.   ❜

    truth be told, they had been skeptical. Amara already held little to no trust for these Stars and the current predicament left her more than wary. how was one of these weapons supposed to grant someone some superhuman capabilities? feats of incredible strength and the like were so commonplace in their world that such things never caused the Doctor to bat an eyelash. but calculated risks was something they excelled at and damned if it didn’t feel nice to be capable of actually lending assisstance in the battlefield beyond issuing commands. she can hardly even remember what she could do before that fateful day, but Amara remembers how...disheartening it was that they couldn’t even lift Ace’s shield a centimeter without help. now, though -- even if only temporary -- it was different.

           a alberd might not have been the most practical of weapons. a gun was probably better, but Amara had always wondered what it’d be like to wield Skadi’s behemoth of a blade or Nian’s shield. this was the closest thing and she actually has gotten the hang of it-- after hacking the heads off a handful of CPN’s. arms halt mid-swing as a voice cuts through the chaos and crimson eyes found the new player in the field. the swing of Surtr’s blade and magma pooling upon the earth a welcomed sight. she lets the bladed-side of her weapon hit the ground, embedding itself at least half a foot into the earth as they nod.

     “ Phone. Right-- forgot about that.” she won’t even try to come up with an excuse to placate the Sarkaz. shaking her head, she adjusts her gloves, thankful her protective gear worked even against the offending ooze. a snort follows suit. “ I’m better suited for command but you couldn’t expect me to let my Operators handle this alone, could you? “

  i don’t know how many people play arknights but, chapter 9 was just released for the global server and i...finished it the day of! and i’ll be updating amara’s canon point to be post storm watch/chapter 9! don’t worry though, i doubt hardly any spoilers will be present due to not many RI people being in radiale so Amara won’t be speaking of what happened to anyone but them but if they do, i’ll tag them! anyways. man.

      “ Ruins exist everywhere. It is how a civilization leaves their story to be told.” encountering another form of a living being in Yesteryear did not seem to be common. for a place of ruins to be inhabited by strange doll like automotons, research told them that society largely left it be-- save for those few curious ones. they are reminded of the numerous ruins that littered Terra, of cities and villages and settlements lost and forgotten. abandoned by time or its people and left for nature to reclaim. or a Catastrophe to destroy, leaving no trace behind.

    “ Have you been able to get close to one of them?” Amara would like to try and speak to one of them. to learn, if they were able to. how does their mind work? is it largely different than that of the Ancients? of humans? “ They seem to be...afraid of us. “

    “ Hm....half of these flavors don’t exist on Terra.” the Star Trail was fascinating. not only a place to acquire dishes found on this island, but it held booths from numerous other worlds. it was a cuisine hotspot. of course, there wasn’t anything from this booth that the Doctor could enjoy. Kal’tsit had her on a strict and healthy diet. to deviate from it now, just because her doctor isn’t around, would be foolish. it was necessary to hasten her already slow recovery. not that it was disheartening-- they are sure some healthy alternatives to ice-cream exist in this place. research can be done later.

    “ Go on. Pick what you want. I have enough.” rarely does Amara get to spend time with any of the Operators employed by Rhodes Island that wasn’t fieldwork or a mission. and she knew of the redhead’s love for the cold treat. the least they could do was buy her one after she spent the day escorting the Doctor around.

     despite the general warmth many of Rhodes Island people and Operators have given to the Doctor, there are a small few who hold a different opinion. it’s born from hate, a feeling that was planted moments before Babel fell. it rose with Theresa’s death, withstanding the test of time and change. Amara was well aware of it, and something that she had known for some time know. Kal’tsit makes it crystal clear, yet she herself admitted that there is still something that exists to exist with that hate. Amara does not remember-- there is hardly anything they remember, so they cannot know how much of her words are truthful.

      but for one, there is nothing to balance out the hate.

       “ -- W. Didn’t expect to find you here.” or rather it was the Sarkaz that found them. there’s no surprise nor fear to be found upon their features, just recogniition. in some strange way, there was a modicum of comfort to be found. not in the mercenary herself, but from the fact this confirmed one of Amara’s theories-- numerous beings from one singular world could be pulled here. but then, what of their status back in Terra? how did this work? why? too many questions, too many things to be learned, and none of it to be fit in here. unless W had answers but getting her to give them to the Doctor was a whole other ballgame.

    “ That was quick. Eager to meet me? “ she had seen her name on the contacts lists and knew it would have only been a matter of time.

      the normality of it all is, perhaps, the most startling.

 they are used to constant movement. they are used to Catastrophes laying waste to the surface, to a war that will continue to rage for years upon years, to a perfunctorily routine. wake up, prepare for the day, busy themselves with numerous tasks that needed to be done, spending what free time was allowed however they saw fit. the air here is different. there is no consistent rumble beneath their feet, no hum of machinery moving in sync with one another. everything is....stationary. 

   the people look nothing like the residents of Terra. they go about their lives in a city that looks too clean and too functioning. not even Lungmen was like this. where was Kal’tsit? Amiya? hell, even Closure would be a better sight-- at least then it is someone they know. but everything is unrecognizable. the only thing that they can find familiar is the special medication tucked safely within one of their many pockets. is this place even safe...? are they dreaming? hallucinating?

                       -- Kal’tsit was going to have a fit. 

  sighing quietly, lips part to call out to a young woman standing nearby before pausing. everyone here was dressed normally-- not decked out in protective gear and a helmet/mask combo that could probably cause a kid to scream if they saw them in the middle of the night. their hands reach up to pull their hood back, letting the fabric fall before moving to remove the mask. reckless, Kal’tsit might call it but the Doctor is sure people here would not pause to talk to someone who looks like they’re about to rob someone.

           it was too normal. too shiny, too....at peace. nothing like Terra.

 tucking the mask between her side and the crook of her elbow, they clear their throat. “ Excuse me.” they pause, waiting until eyes are on them before gesturing to the large hole with a nod. “ Do you know what this hole is about?” because, out of everything, that is the closest thing to a clue that Amara has about what’s going on.
