Okay seriously. Reblog if you're OLDER than 11.
why is it that not more than 1/20 of Tumblr haven’t reblogged this
Disney has the power to save animals if they play their cards right (tl,dr: Disney please make a movie about pitbulls)
Okay so when 101 Dalmatians came out, the popularity of the breed skyrocketed (despite the fact that they aren’t usually the best dogs for small children).
When Finding Nemo came out, every damn kid in the country wanted a clownfish (again, not the message the movie was wanting to get across because its bad for the clownfish).
And of course the same thing for Finding Dory (and we remember the many “don’t get a blue tang” posts that popped up around the time the movie was released.)
So clearly, Disney movies have this unintended power to get more people to get certain pets because they look like a movie character. But as mentioned above, this comes with consequences that are harmful to the animals or the owners.
But what if Disney used this power to end the stigma against pit bulls/bully breeds and get more of these wonderful dogs adopted? If they made a movie starring pit bulls, I’m thinking it could do wonders for bully breeds, rescues, and shelters.
They just need to show the breed in a realistic light. Pitties are playful, adorable, and so darn sweet, and the movie should showcase that. But it should also show that they’re not the best dog for everyone (I worked at a doggy daycare and most of the injuries I got from pit bulls was because they’re so excited and don’t know their own strength. The rest of them weren’t well socialized…. but ANY breed can be poorly socialized and not do well with other dogs).
So maybe the movies conflict arises because the main dog character does one of the things that people are afraid of pitbulls for, and the rest of the movie shows that any dog is worth loving and saving. It could be a heartwarming story for all and with how much influence Disney has over our culture, they could use their power to do a lot of great help for bully breeds.

bpd is weird cuz i’m so sensitive that small things are a big deal to me and i get overstimulated fast, especially as the socially withdrawing type who prefers aloneness, so you’d think i’d never want anything to happen to me which is sometimes very true
yet i also have a deep existential boredom, emptiness, need to be tragic, craving for drama, craving for self-punishment, so i in fact actively wish for big bad things to happen to me as well

“how do you feel about someone that’s a ddlg nsfw blog interacting with a sfw blog that asks to not have nsfw interactions?”
I’ve seen numerous blogs that have a VERY long description in which they ask not to have NSFW interactions. Let me first clarify that what I’m about to say is in no way me victim blaming or saying it’s “their fault”. That said, if the “no interactions” is that critical perhaps the SFW blog should have that written as the first thing in the description rather than buried mid description paragraph (please remember that it’s been proven that people today often only have a 10-second attention span). 🙄
If someone DMs a SFW blog that has requested no NSFW interactions then the NSFW person is in the wrong; I try to read descriptions of anyone I DM before doing so (if for no other reason than to understand who I’m DMing). 😌
I’ve seen issues before though from a mixed SFW/NSFW blog (such as mine) reblogging something from a SFW blog. If this is what you were talking about then I think the SFW blog is blowing it out of proportion; I would ask that maybe the SFW blog put the “no NSFW interactions” as part of their posts (I personally don’t read blog bio descriptions before reblogging a post).
As someone that frequently has my posts rebloged let me tell you how I address posts/comments/reblogs that bother me: I delete the reblog/comment then move on with my life. There was ONCE I had to DM the reblogger and kindly ask them to to just delete the post; people often respond nicely if you just ASK nicely. 😇
let’s take that “one (1)” meme a step further & add emojis to the mix wouldn’t that be cool (😎)

Apparently they went furniture shopping, too, since the family is getting bigger.
Update:
I’ve named them Leia and Luke:
They’re ugly and cute at the same time:
Messy little critters:
They’ve entered their rebellious phase:
Just when I thought Luke and Leia grew up and I can finally clean the balcony, lo and behold, another pair of twins.

hiiiiiiiiii ummmm imma lay down some facts for yall
age regression isn't the same as going into "little space"it's a trauma reaction that brings you back to when you were a LITERAL child. it's terrifying because it's your, say, 9 year old brain in an adult body and your lil 9 year old self has no clue what's going on. it typically happens in those that have experienced CSA or other forms of child abuse. please stop using the term interchangeably with little space. thanks.

This bitch.
Hi wait this post GOT me. I’m just over 5’7 and the thought of being my height and only this weight is insane. I understand that eating disorders are mental illnesses and it isn’t just a case of saying “eat more food and get over it” cause that’s just not how it works. I’m not suggesting that all models have EDs and I’m also not at all calling out people with eating disorders but what I am calling out is the pro ana community. I understand people struggling with an ED often use these tags to find people in similar situations to try to help one another. My point is pro ana is not okay, it encourages people who are suffing to demonise recovery. It draws more people in and even causes EDs. That is all, I just had to voice my opinion on this specific post cause it hit me so damn hard.
Hey girl look, I’m not pro ana. Fuck this mental state. I hate that I see my body this way and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. I’m sorry to anyone who thinks I support this as a lifestyle because it is NOT. Get off my blog and never come back if you think anorexia is a diet. I just wanted to share my feelings and reach out to others who thought similarly to feel less alone. I am sorry ♡
