Julie made her way out to where Matt asked, wondering what was going on. As she got there, she saw him. “Hey,” She said, moving to sit beside him. “What’s going on?” She questioned, wondering what was going on. “Is everything okay?” the baby questioned. She hoped that he was alright and nothing was wrong, but she wasn’t sure, considering he was asking to meet.
“SO NOW THAT I’m here and seriously missing some prime touring time in Europe, what the fuck do I have to do to get some entertainment around here?”
“What sort of entertainment are you looking for exactly?” She questioned, watching the stranger. “Because depending on what you’re wanting, I’m sure I could offer you something.”

Matt sat on the the patio, one earbud in as he finished working on a song list for his show that night. A large envelope sat beside him, filled with a small stack of papers. It hadn’t been easy, but Matt finally got what he needed. He couldn’t wait to show Julie, but he also didn’t want to. Once she had the bakery, she’d likely leave. And Matt struggled with being able to just let her go. He knew it was for the best; he couldn’t do anything for her and he had hurt her so much. Once finished with his list, he saved it, sitting back in his chair. Looking at the envelope, he closed his eyes and reached to open it, looking everything over before he found the section he needed. The part where he signed the building to Julie. He picked a pen out of his computer bag, moving to fill it out, and for a long moment, he just stared at the last place to sign. He gave a sad smile. “Come on, Matt. It should be easy.” he told himself, taking a deep breath and signing the property, officially, to the woman he loved. He slid them all back into the envelope before pulling out his phone and sending a message.
[To; Jules]: Hey, got some time to spare?
Julie had been struggling with her feelings, with the knowledge that she was falling all over again and that she was likely going to get hurt . So when she saw the text, she sighed, replying and trying to keep herself from getting too giddy. She shouldnt be so excited to see or hear from him, she had to hold it together. So she sighed, replying and hoping she seemed calm.

He let his arms hold her close. “It’s okay, I swear. I will protect you.” he assured, heart breaking at what he had done to her. She deserved so much better, and even if he himself had become better, he knew he would feel as if he owed her a better version of himself his entire life. “When I finally got clean, I just focused on two things to keep me going.” he offered, wanting to change the subject off of why Julie was on this island.
“Are you sure?” She asked, her voice small and concerned. She didn’t know what to do or how to handle any of this and he was offering this chance to have her life back. “Thank you,” She said, looking up at him. Her tears finally slowed and she leaned in, kissing him gently and holding on to him. She wasn’t sure what brought about the choice, but she did, tongue sliding out to taste him. She froze a second later. “I’m sorry,” She whispered. “I shouldn’t have done that.”
"If you want, I can help whip something up? I'm not the best cook in the whole world, but I can make a thing or two?" She offered.
“Woah, that was a quite nice gym indeed,” Calla breathed out with a widening smile before looked over at the other person. “You don’t happen to have any good ideas for a post-workout dinner?”
“I don’t know about post-workout, but I know that the one time i was on the island with a friend of mine, there was a really good place that served the best seafood. I would recommend there if you’re willing to travel. If not, there’s plenty of good cooks here too.”

Matt felt his heart break at her tears, instantly moving to wipe them away. “Don’t cry, not over me. Not because of me.” he said, knowing full well he’d cry too. Being sober gave him his emotions back, and sometimes it hurt more than he liked, but he would never go back. “I will get your bakery back, Julie. If it’s the last thing I do, you will have it back.” he swore. He could at least give her one thing she wanted, because she’d never want him again, and he was okay with that as long as he got the bakery back for her. Hearing her words, his smile softened just slightly. “We don’t have to go eat,” he replied. He couldn’t eat very much to begin with, he’d get sick every time and that would be a pain trying to explain him throwing up. “Did you just get here?” he asked, not wanting to step over any lines
Being told not to cry over him only made her cry harder and the fact that she didn’t have anyone to hold her or make it better only made her sink further into it. Before she knew it she was full blown sobbing, finally letting go of all of the emotions she had felt for years, since she had started seeing Matt. She felt lost and heartbroken and she finally felt anger there within everything else, not that she’d ever admit it. She nodded as he asked if she had just gotten there. “F-few weeks,” She said, once her crying was mostly overwith, instead just left with the puffy eyes and the wrecked voice, rough from crying. “I just wanted a fresh start.” She admitted. “I missed the bakery and I thought someone would actually help me with that. But no one has so much as looked at me twice.” She admitted.

The other woman’s word were soft and kind, something that Stella needed right now. She barely recognized the girl, having only seen her in passing she was sure and she felt a little bad for not actually knowing the woman’s name. Stella smiled weakly, lifting a trembling hand to swipe away tears on her cheeks. Do you like it here? Do you have friends here that make it worth it? And what are you giving up back home? Is there something there that will make it worth it to be back home and not here?” She questioned. “I’m Julie, by the way. I can’t remember if we’ve ever spoken before.” She apologized.
