Summer Nights || Josh & Behati
"Yeah?" Josh questioned, when she mentioned how she was usually really late. "Me too, so I know that feeling…" As they settled into the car and she questioned it, he couldn’t help but shrug his shoulders a little, stifling a laugh. They could hardly walk all the way there or else they’d be exhausted. He wanted to somewhere in particular and walking was out of the question. That part could come later. "We are," he answered with a playful smile, "When we get there anyway." There was nothing else to say really. Yes, maybe he should have told her where they were going, but did it hurt to live a little. He didn’t think so, and he needed to get out of the standard routine for a while. Heading out tonight with someone he didn’t know at all was a very good start. When Behati told him her reasons for being there, he nodded in understanding. The usual then. Weren’t most people there for work? It was the same reason he’d ended up there eighteen months ago. "I get that," he said simply. "I get that completely. I came over for work, and then ended up staying, bought a house. It’s different here, but it’s a good different, you know."
Once they were out of the car, and he heard her reply, he pushed his door closed and laughed lightly. “The drinking bit was the best part of the plan, I guess…” he said, beginning to walk away from the car. He paused for a moment for her to catch up, then headed down towards the cobblestone path that followed the winding of the river. It was nice down here, the sun shining, a soft breeze coming up and off the water. “Thank you for coming though,” he added finally, having walked in silence for a minute or so, simply enjoying the scenery. “I wanted an excuse to get out for a little while to be honest. I’ve been trying to keep busy and I kind of hit a point where I wasn’t anymore. Couldn’t take it anymore.” He shrugged, not explaining any further, and then pointed up ahead of them. “You see that massive anchor? That’s where we’re heading to.”
"Different is good, different is actually exactly what I am looking for if I am being honest, I felt like my life had too much of the same and needed a change now!" Gosh how horrible of a Liar was she? Too much of the same and needed a change? Wasnt it more like her cheating husband was the one who needed a change and she was the one drawing consequences from it? Sighting heavily she hoped he hadnt noticed how she had been lost in thoughts and looked over at him smiling "So you've been here for 18 months already? I guess its a good place to be than, huh?" It was more of a rhetoric question since the answer seemed evident if he had stayed there for over 18 months now and even bought a house but she still felt like asking. She walked along with him, looking out onto the river regretting the fact that she had underestimated the breeze a little, but actually she really didnt mind it. It sort of made her feel alive as odd as it sounded. Wasnt it sad that she as a only now 27 year old model at the peek of her career actually felt so down over a man that she even felt alive again through something as simply as a walk along the river and a breeze?
"Its beautiful out here!" Behati stated after a while and nodded at his statement "Yes, the drinking part seemed like the best idea but to be honest I am coming to think that just seeing the river actually was all worth coming, so I should thank you for taking me and not vice versa!" She knew exactly what he meant when he explained that he tried to keep busy and just nodded before she looked in the direction he had pointed out to see a massive anchor afar "Thats where we are heading? What is there?" The Namibian asked obviously curious but more so excited actually for the little adventure, her first in London non the less. It was such a nice thing of Josh to be showing her around a little and showing her a place on the river that was so pretty and calming at the same time. It was rare that people you barely knew actually were doing things like that.

I thought it was looking good in them…99% of the times i put on the yoga pants and the tank top, i don’t run or do sports.
That's the other point I guess! I mean probably also the reason why I still have a contract with VSX because it sure isn't because I'm sporty!

Wow. What an asshole. This was… Adam, right? Sorry, not to be nosy or anything. Good thing you kicked him to the curb, though. You can do so much better. I don’t get why guys cheat on beautiful girls. His loss, honey.
Yes it was..youre fine, I get it I would have asked too! I didnt kick him to the curb I just threw my ring at him, yell a little and grabbed some stuff before I flew to London over night...can you tell I am a little impulsive sometimes? Thank you, thats very sweet of you to say!

I think its not just yours, I am barely sleeping since I got here! The only thing that comes to my mind in all honesty is go and try to find a place with food that is still open!

They always say the first year is the hardest. If things start to go downhill after that first year, you pretty much know it’s not going to work. Sad but true.
Well the first year was quite wonderful, actually its only about 3 weeks until our second anniversary but it seems that my husband wasnt thinking about that when he cheated and lied about it!
