I just misspelled my last name. My own last name... that is four letters long. I’m not sure if I need sleep or I’m just that dumb, but this is definitely not the highlight of life.
Hello everyone! As you have most likely noticed, we have been a bit absent lately, working behind the scenes and off of the dash. As promised, we have been putting all of our time and energy into completing the project we started, and as of today, we can officially declare that we have turned over a new leaf, and we could not be happier.
If you look around, you will see that nearly everything has been changed. The main blog as well as the gossip blog have undergone complete makeovers, nearly all of the pages have been scrubbed down and given new themes, including the navigation and the blogroll. We have shortened the rules, rewritten the application, made a fresh batch of icons and headers, redone the character masterlist, updated the wanted list and made new graphics. We sincerely hope that you like the changes we made and that you are as excited as we are about the future and the things that we have in store for you!
And on that note, we will be resuming activity checks this Sunday so take this as a fair warning that we expect everyone to have a two hundred word para posted by then to stay off the list. Along with that, we also have an event in the works to get things moving again, and the next question of the week will be posted on the following Monday. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for staying with us throughout this revamp, for being loyal, patient members and for trusting us and believing in us. We are dedicated to not only this group but each and every one of you as well, and we are so glad that we could finally post some good news. The future is bright!
“I’m a little late to the party here, but I wanted to give my two cents on Valentine’s Day. I have always found it interesting that we celebrate Ystävänpäivää in Finland instead of Valentine’s Day like everyone else does. Ystävänpäivää can translate to Friendship Day because we like to include everyone there and not leave anyone out. We shower our friends with our platonic love for them and give them things, along with our sweetheart too. I dunno, I just tend to think that Valentine’s Day should be a celebration of the many different kinds of love that there are out there because it can take on many different forms that we often don’t seem to think about.”
Well, after a flight that took four more hours than it was supposed to following the six hour delay to even board the plane, the airport lost one of my bags that held not only my script but my laptop as well, I forgot my phone, a child spit on me and I tripped leaving the building in front of a large group of people that found my pain to be a little too hilarious. In short, thank you for the warm welcome, London. I’m glad to be here.
Valentine’s Day Event: Lonely Hearts Club Charity Night
Forget days old roses, pricy chocolate boxes or overcrowded restaurants on February 14th. Let the High Profile population of Celebrity London celebrate love in the best way possible: while having fun and volunteering their time and money, by giving back. In collaboration with the Make A Wish foundation, we are urging you all to attend what promises to be a fantastic night at our Lonely Hearts Club -whether you’re single or happily taken, everyone will enjoy.
The food and fountain drinks are free, as well as attendance, but there is a catch, because it is a fundraiser. Everyone who wants in on the guest list has to register to mann a booth or special activity. Don’t worry, you get shifts, so you can go off and enjoy the party yourself, but it’s mostly about giving back. Be it the Lovebird Tank Tank, the Kissing Booth, the Blind Dates, Cinnamon and Candy hearts concession stand or some idea of your own, it is still guaranteed you will have the night of your life!
To attend, please send in the form below to the main blog:

Kissing Booth: A classic amongst all classics. Celebrities who offer their services will be on half hour shifts rotation, at the booth, to give kisses to whoever comes in and pay. Breath mints, gum, hand sanitizer and chapstick will be offered. [£1 for a kiss on the cheek £5 for a kiss on the lips]
Sara Bareilles

Cupid Gigolo: Celebrities that offer will be spending half hour shifts dressed up like Cupid, giving out hugs and posing however they are told to in their pictures. Who doesn’t enjoy a celebrity looking ridiculous once in awhile? [£1 for a hug £5 for a picture £10 for five pictures]
Avan Jogia
Adele Karaoke: Who is better than the queen of heartbreaking songs to be the main source or musical entertainments for the Lonely Hearts Club? Throughout the event, we will be alternating between a regular DJ, and performances by anyone in attendance who pays to climb up on stage to belt out the soulful singer’s biggest hits -with or without her help-. [£5 to sing on their own, £20 to sing a duet with Adele]

Lovebird Tank Tank: Special booth. Only coupled up people can volunteer. Because it is the Lonely Hearts Club, there are a lot of single people out there out to get the lovey-dovey couples. We offer them an occasion to get their feelings out by attempting to dunk volunteering couples into a tank full of water by aiming at a target with a ball. Fresh and warm towels are offered to the participating couples, but they must bring their own bathing suits. [£2 a try £10 for 10 tries £30 for a direct tanking]

Dear Carrie: For the special event, the Princess of Alderaan herself will offer love and relationship advice about everything you might ask. She was hit on by a Kennedy, married then divorced then dated one half of Simon and Garfunkel, got left for another man, woke up with a dead friend in her bed... trust us, she has answers for you. Who doesn’t need to be reminded once in a while to “not go through the crew like wildfire”. [£10 for one question £20 for three]
Carrie Fisher
Speed dates: The concept is easy. Rows of tables are set, people sit, they have 3 minutes to talk and get to know each other before the buzzer sounds and one row moves down a table. The trick here is... you can enter someone against their will. It’s for charity, they will look like assholes if they refuse. How fun is that? [£10 to enter yourself £20 to enter someone else against their will]

People of London, let me tell ya, you have never truly felt pain until you’ve stuck your mascara wand straight in your eyeball. I feel a new song coming up. “Help, oh, am going to diiiiie”. So... I guess I have to say it now, don’t I? Hello everyone. It’s good to be home.
