WIP a Humanformers young!Megatron way back when he was still an idealist who thought his writings could help change the system. Before the Senate tried to bash every bit of that out of him, that is.

I envision him as a British miner who dreamed about becoming a medic but was told he couldn’t since he was born to a mining community and he was bound to be a miner until he died. 

He tried to make the best of it, teaching newcomers the ropes so they didn’t suffer horrible workplace accidents, donating his rations to older miners who couldn’t work to earn their keep any more and becoming the head of a union he establishes…. all which makes him a public enemy of a Senate and a system who have demarcated them as an expendable class.

The lack of respect for socialism makes me inherently distrust them. I don’t think they need to be explicitly anti capitalist in the sense of being a “socialist organisation” as their main priority. However pretty much all the science of climate change shows that mass production and the capitalist notion of churning out new products in the cheapest and fastest way possible is hugely damaging. It really makes me question how much science of climate change they actually read and understand if they are anti socialist and therefore whether they should really have the monopoly on climate change activism that they do.

Also can we have that essay lol I’m very curious.
