This idea hit me like a ton of bricks while i was on a brief errand and then i had to come home and immediately draw it.

"We are in a cultural moment that demands purity of characters, particularly characters in romantic narratives (whether the romantic storylines are primary or secondary). In book reviews, readers bemoan the “problematic,” and unequal power dynamics make them “uncomfortable.”[1] This insistence on only the most upstanding and unblemished unions erases all possibility of person-making, which is to say, growth and change. Instead, we end up with narrative corn syrup: an uncomplicated, saccharine meal that goes down fast but is, at the end of the day, unsatisfying."
C.L. Clark discusses writing sex, desire, and queerness in Nicola Griffith's Ammonite
I'm so damn impressed by CL Clark for saying this outright and refusing (despite the intense controlling behavior fans display toward queer writers, especially of canon sapphic love stories) to soften the sharp edges in the main love story of Magic of the Lost.

Pick a heart then pass it on!
I've decided to get back into reading and chose the Magic of the Lost trilogy by C. L. Clark to get me started. Which might have been a bad choice in hindsight because I am feral. I demolished the trilogy in four days and now I'm craving more.
If you want a great, amazing fantasy series to sink your teeth into, I cannot recommend this series enough. The characters are delightful and frustrating. The world is complex and enrapturing. There are lesbians! Multiple, even!
The first book is The Unbroken. Read it and please come scream with me.
Hello everyone!
Last year I started designing a series of Coat of Arms, themed in the spirit of Pride Month and using different mythological creatures as heraldic animals. I now aim to turn these designs into wearable pins and will be running a Kickstarter in July to fund this endeavor! I have found a very trustworthy local manufacturer, who has already shown the quality of their craftsmanship with the first batch of test pins I received, just look at the detail they were able to produce!
Since I try to support local manufacturers, which produce pins with fair wages and are more ethical than outside of Europe, the pins are more expensive to create than through the usual pipeline via Asia.
I therefore seek to crowdfund the expenses since they would be more than I can afford. If you are interested and look forward to support this little endeavor, please follow the link below to sign up for a mailing list. People who signed up on the email list and pledged during the campaign will receive an exclusive sticker set by the end of a successful launch consisting of the following designs:

Local LGBTIQ+ organisation LEGABIBO welcomed the government’s move, describing it as “a necessary and long-overdue step toward restoring dignity and aligning our legal framework with constitutional values of equality and human rights.” The group said the change sends “a clear message that LGBTIQ+ persons are not criminals, and that their lives and relationships deserve protection, not punishment.” LEGABIBO noted that the colonial-era provisions had long cast a shadow over the lives of LGBTIQ+ people in the country.
