Making this my pinned post because I know nothing is more important to you guys than some quasi-libertarian/anarchist's rankings of the best/worst fast food chicken sandwiches with pesto added on top.
1. Chick Fil A. The Lord's Chicken reigns supreme. It's a big sandwich. It's juicy and flavorful. I'm not really a fan of pickles and the pesto completely covered up the pickle brine they marinate the meat in.
2. KFC. The chicken patty is huge and it's thick. The breading is nice and crunchy. The meat itself was a little lacking in flavor but still a great sandwich.
3. Home Made. The whole post is right here. So this isn't a fast food sandwich but I wanted to try out my own cooking skills with a little extra experimentation. The fillet was a little tough near the ends but I really enjoyed the flavor. I experimented with the breading technique and it was okay.
4. Burger King. It's hot and juicy. It tastes good. The patty had good flavor to it but the pesto added more.
5. McDonald's McCrispy. The patty was hot and juicy. It's a good portion of meat but for some reason I needed a lot of pesto to taste it.
6. Subway. I had the grilled chicken. It loses some points for not being breaded and the meat was a little skimpy but it's still a good sandwich.
7. Wendy's. This one was a little disappointing. It's a snack sized sandwich for the price of a meal sized sandwich. Rather than a chicken patty you get more of a chicken strip. The chicken strip was pretty dry. I'm not sure if Wendy's normally or if that was just an old one nearing the throw out time.
8. McDonald's McChicken. This was the only one I could say was actually bad with pesto. It's not a bad sandwich on its own but the bun is incredibly sweet which was so gross when paired with the pesto.
