Ok here’s my headcanon on the possible timeline of events after Tord got hired, up until the stuff leading to The End:
- He worked at ReDeux as a biotechnologist and was sincerely hopeful that his cybernetic limb & stasis test tube (or cloning chamber???) design would be praised, and that he would genuinely help others in the medical industry with his inventions and research/findings.
- Well unfortunately for him, ReDeux was a INCREDIBLY BAD WORK ENVIRONMENT, and eventually he would become a victim of stolen credit, as his cybernetic prosthesis (or any other of his projects) would be taken away and sold under the company’s name, NOT HIS. He wouldn’t be properly credited nor paid for his efforts, being essentially shafted to being a random nobody in the lab, while the company profited greatly from all of his work.
- He eventually quit in utter rage, being utterly disgusted how he was betrayed like this, ESPECIALLY by a company who ended up being more capitalist that he expected, as he genuinely wanted his works to be for the better good of everyone. Thus, he REALLY got into communist ideals again upon leaving, realizing how disgusting and soul crushing the way capitalism itself has wronged him out of being properly acknowledged and for helping those who could’ve benefited from his work.
- Upon quitting, he took all of his personal work and stole some materials and testing equipment from ReDeux, in order to continue further working on his previous inventions and breakthroughs. Alongside that, he got more into weapons making again, as it was one of his former interests, and soon relied on it as a source of income, in order to fund all of his findings.
- He soon devised a idea to take over UK/Europe with the revival of the Red Army, in order to bring ‘equality’ to everyone in it, so nobody else has to suffer from the cruelties of capitalism, like what he experienced. He soon began to shift in personality as well, becoming much more cold and calculated than he used to. By slowly building up his hired militia (although many did agree with his sentiment and joined willingly for free) he soon worked on making legit biohazards like NW-8 and the unknown purple mutagen from The Snogre. Thanks to his previous experience of being undead, he can easily make these sort of insanely inhumane bio weapons! Ironic, isn’t it.
- By the time he finished growing his militia and all of the events in The Snogre/Fun Dead occurred, the rest is pretty much history! He ended up being successful with his takeover, ruling as a communist dictator with his massive array of soldiers, mechs, the undead, etc, while it got so bad enough he inadvertently pushed Future Edd to go back in time in WTFuture!
