With the money Lea was making from serving the royals regularly, she had secured enough to purchase a small shop in town. Sure, being responsible for another business hadn’t originally been the goal, but it seemed the island they were currently residing on was going to be home for quite sometime; at least until she was assigned elsewhere, her rebel status still intact.
Hearing the ding of the bell caused Lea to look up from what she was currently doing, “I’m sorry, we’re not open yet.” Laying down the whisk, she had been holding, the woman made her way over to meet the whoever had entered the shop, “I’m still trying to get everything set up, but I promise there will be a sign on the day of our grand opening.” A soft smile spread across her face.
