Severus wasn't typically one for the unannounced touching or the such. But he found himself growing increasingly used to those moments -- and even craving them at times. That wasn't entirely true. It was only Her. Her touches and random caresses that he craved. Such a moment came as he was engrossed in his current batch of potions for the nurse, and Severus was surprised at his lack of [negative] reaction. He found himself smiling as he stirred the last few times and quickly jotted down the time so he could finish the potion later.

He pulled himself away from his work and turned to greet her with a soft nod followed by leaning over to press a kiss on the top of her head then one on her lips. "I take it you finished your tasks early?" he checked in. Severus flicked his gaze outside to make sure he hadn't simply lost track of time -- as he was apt to do when working with potions. As his gaze returned to her, he gently took hold of her hand and raised it to his lips so he could leave yet another kiss there.

It was no secret that Charity and Severus had been seeing each other. Even the news of their flirting and co-mingling had spread to the older students. Both students and staff alike were surprised at the match given how completely opposite they seemed in personality. Charity was bright, bubbly, and beloved amongst her students, at least the ones who like Muggle Studies. Severus had a reputation that seemed to strike fear the instant students stepped into his dark class during first year. None of that mattered to her. She got to know a side of Severus that not many were privy to. He didn't judge her for being Muggle-born. He didn't slink away at her small touches of affection between classes, during meals, and whenever they happened to pass each other. Charity sat beside him, her hand lightly and casually landing on his arm. "Yes! I don't have to do evening rounds now that the prefects are a bit more practiced this month. And I decided to allow the students to do class presentations rather than essays so it would be one less thing that I'd have to grade in the evenings," she explained, mindlessly tracing her fingers on his arm.
