first and foremost daniel is louis' fascinating boy. not armand's. i will hear no criticism.

it's thinking about danlou hours and about how deeply louis cares for daniel and has since the very beginning. in 1973 he picked up a cute, fascinating, bright young reporter with a point of view at a bar and immediately was enamoured by him! louis' monologue at the end of Don't Be Afraid, Just Start The Tape makes me cry every single time (and i have a lot of... thoughts... about people that claim that that couldn't possibly be said by louis but has to be armand speaking to daniel, he just remembers wrong) danlou is so incredibly important to me, whether we're talking romantic or platonic i don't care because their love is pure and real and so deep. jacob is such a beautiful, talented actor and i giggle every time louis interacts with old daniel! louis looks so smitten <3
