dude i don't normally like to dig at peoples fun i generally think people having fun is good but it is slightly disheartening when there's a really really good story about a strong platonic relationship and then the only thing the fans can do is ship the characters or worse make a crack ship with an unrelated character from another media because it's like they can't STAND a lack of romance in media like they absolutely must try to insert romance where it is absolutely not needed or relevant and honestly sours the story/media a lot more for me or they'll Die because they can't just be happy with a really good platonic relationship. it makes me very sad as a demiromantic girlie.

When presented with a canonically romance and or sex repulsed character (such as mirabelle isat, who basically turns to the camera and says "i am a romance repulsed and sex repulsed aroace") why do people just do shit with them anyways. Apparently its fine so by this exact same logic it wouldnt be homophobic to think of a canonically gay character as straight but a whole lot of allos just dont think aros and aces are queer at all so they dont understand the double standard. "Oh aros can date!!!" Some of them sure, and gay men can date women so that means its not homophobic to erase this identity right.

To be quite honest with you all I do think that aro/ace-spectrum fans in fandoms where people are desperately inventing crossover ships and humanizing non-human characters in order to have a conventionally attractive guy to ship the main character with, instead of possibly having to enjoy a story with no romance in it, have the right to refer to everyone else as cowards.

in medieval times you ONLY addressed a king/queen with “Your Majesty”, NEVER “Your Highness”.  To address a king/queen with “Your Highness” was considered an insult.
