@badloup
I checked out Bookshops and Bonedust yesterday, and then had a flare-up, so now I'm lying in bed, convalescing, taking my mind off my pain by reading a book about someone convalescing and reading books to take her mind off the pain
"As folk had since time immemorial, she got on with things, because otherwise ... who would feed the dog?"
Mr. Baldree. TRAVIS. How dare you hit me with that on a perfectly normal day and make me think about all the fur babies who need feeding.
i'm currently 75% of the way through "legends and lattes" and i really like it, but i do find it hilarious that i've heard this book described (both by fans and detractors) as "no plot just vibes" when a not insignificant portion of the book concerns the main character being shaken down by the fantasy mafia. like this is very much a cozy slice of life for the most part, but it's less "pure coffee shop au" and more "coffee shop au with a mafia subplot and also a side character invents the electric guitar in the background"
“I was born in the wrong generation” Can’t relate. I love reading books about 7ft lesbian orcs who open coffee shops in small towns.
When people be calling The Prince of Egypt Zionist propaganda
in prince of egypt they should’ve had g-d be voiced by all the hebrews speaking at the same time, with yocheved’s voice the loudest and i will die on this hill
I could be in full rigor mortis and The Prince of Egypt soundtrack could absolutely wake me up
watching the prince of egypt rn and straight up nutting because this is some of the most visually pleasing animation ive ever seen genuinely can’t look away
my one and only wish for the epic animated movie is that they use the same cast as the actual musical album 🙏🏻🙏🏻
The Plagues - Dragon Age X Prince of Egypt
If Epic ever gets made into an animated movie, I think it would be cool to have it in the same style as Prince Of Egypt. Like just look at all the wonderful shapes and colors!!!
Epic would look gorgeous in this animation style
Song of the Sea (2014) The Prince of Egypt (1998) Klaus (2019)
I love how since Moses' staff turns into a snake before the number starts and the magicians don't bring out their own snakes for it to eat until about halfway through Playing With the Big Boys, there's like a minute where Moses' snake doesn't have anything to do and so is just sitting there very politely. Doesn't even strike or react much to what's happening besides hissing when they call it a silly twig. He's here on a job and so he is acting professional
applying papier mache to the homie who fell asleep on the floor during the party and then using it as a mold to make a 1-to-1 perfect silicone sculpture of him which we place on the floor and gently interlace with him so it looks like he is sleeping restfully with the yin yang of his own somnolent form lol
All roads lead to Rome, all life evolves into crabs, and all Tumblr posts become about Phineas and Ferb
when a mutual posts something I lowkey agree with but they're getting cooked for it
