an official goodbye
Why have I held off making a post for so long? god even i dont know. Usually I just dip from blogs I get bored of without a word. Since freshman year of college ended and I was going into my sophomore year, I just didn’t have any motivation or real want to keep doing this. It wasnt because I hated drawing these three goofs or anything like that, I just... lost steam. This all started as a joke, and I rode the joke, but then it started feeling like beating a dead guar horse.
Once I decided I didn’t want to do this anymore, I kinda... slowly stopped drawing altogether. I was drawing maybe once or twice a month if I was lucky. 2019 was a dark, dark year for my art. Every year I do the “X year in review” art meme and I had only 5 out of 12 months with a finished drawing. This reflects on my blog here, because I just couldnt be assed to draw anything anymore.
Slowly I forgot this blog, and come december of 2019, I joined a fandom I was once apart of years ago and finally came back to, and moved to twitter. It was like an art revolution, I’m so happy with what I do now and what I make. But every now and then I’m reminded of this blog. Sometimes I open up my art folder and see my BDASV art. Sometimes i log onto tumblr to find a post or search something and I see a post here get notes. Every time I’m reminded, I think, “I hope no one thinks I’m going to come back one day” because I’ll feel bad for letting you all down if I left without a word.
So, here is a cheers to all of you that followed me, stuck by for the ride, and shared a few laughs. Its ok that things dont last a long time, as long as it was a good time, then I’d say this was far from a waste.
