sorry i just need to talk about it with someone. in short, why chanbaek don't have any skinship nowadays? i saw many of it in their debut days but now it's luck if they even stay near each other. it feels like something's holding them back.q_q

hello anon! i actually enjoy questions like this so feel free to talk with me about these things ^^ let me start off by saying that chanbaek have plenty of skinship these days, just different than maybe what you saw in mama era. the following is going to be my analysis so just be aware this might be a bit lengthy. 

chanbaek now vs chanbaek in their debut days are definitely different, but i owe it to the fact they are both more aware of their relationship with one another (note: relationship as in relation with one another whether that be platonic, romantic, etc.). in the beginning they were just two people who grew very close in a very short amount of time, with chanyeol always looking after baekhyun and baekhyun clinging back. i believe this is because baekhyun being the ~newbie~ (him and jongdae being the last to join and having the shortest amount of training) was shy and closed off due to his level of comfort. baekhyun appears to be someone who doesn’t fully express himself to those he doesn’t know well, but once he gets to know you he throws himself at you full force with all of his heart and silly antics included.
