There’s certain scenes that are just so ingrained into my head, I just love how the film is able to be so dramatic and ridiculous with so much sincerity in between anyways ciao I disappear again ✌️🙂‍↕️

Okay okay okay so I wasn’t planning on posting anything so soon but I woke up two nights ago with the words ‘Nilou’ and ‘orchid mantis’ and I had to get it out of my head sooo…

(If you couldn’t tell, I am a sucker for little bites of lore so this au is really scratching that worldbuilding itch)

Well — this was such a fun piece to make! I absolutely loved fauvism back in high school so it’s really nice to use such a vibrant colour palette again — and what perfect timing with the change of season (mom says its my turn to have a brat summer 🫵🏻😠)

I may be inclined to dabble with this au a little more but we’ll see ~

Easily one of my top ten comfort films so naturally I dabbled a little here (side note — can someone help me draft an eviction notice for these two idiots? They’ve been stuck in my head for months now and the electricity bill is running high…)
