In the earlier post, I’ve talked about the Platinum trophies that I’ve obtained. So far until now, I have 21 Platinum trophies but I’ve talked only the first 3 of them. So now let’s talk about the other 18 trophies (I hope so :-P)
To be precise, the 21 Platinum trophies are as follows, ordered by date :
Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale
Final Fantasy XIII: Lightning Returns
God of War: Chain of Olympus
Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth
#4 Trophy of Zeus (God of War)
Kratos is back to PS3 but with HD Remastered version. The story is still the same from the PS2 version, but with better graphics.
To forget his past, Kratos made a pact with the Gods of Olympus so he would be free from his memories about slaying his own wife and daughter. The Gods agreed with 1 condition: Kratos must stop Ares, the God of War who had been went rampage on Earth. So Kratos’ journey began.
The Platinum trophy itself is quite easy to obtain, it’s just straightforward following the story with some challenges in The Challenge of the God. Rate: 3/10
#5 Trophy of Gaia (God of War II)
Kratos is back in direct sequel of God of War, but this time he wanted to take revenge to the Gods of Olympus. Knowing that the promise from the Gods wouldn’t be fulfilled, Kratos teamed up with the Titans who had been sealed and find the Sisters of Fate to defeat the Gods, especially Zeus.
This game actually a bundle with previous game, so there’s no chance to skip this game. Beside, God of War series usually has easier Platinum trophy to be obtained. :D
Again, the Platinum trophy itself is quite easy to obtain. Rate: 3/10
#6 Platinum Trophy (Batman: Arkham Asylum)
Batman: Arkham Asylum is the first series of Batman: Arkham, following Arkham City and Arkham Knight. There’s also prequel for the series called Arkham Origins.
In this series, Batman was set to trap by his archenemy the Joker in a prison called Arkham Asylum. Meanwhile, there’s also hidden bombs in Gotham and Batman must put Joker’s plan to an end.
The mechanics of this game is great, it seems that we ourselves are Batman. The trophy in other hand is quite hard, there’s a combat challenges that pretty hard to be finished. Rate: 7/10
#7 Platinum (Uncharted 2: Among Thieves)
A sequel to an exclusive PlayStation game featuring the professional hunter Nathan Drake, is must not be missed. Multiplayer game is also featured in this series. With better graphics, this game feels like a Hollywood than a game. :D
After going to the lost city El Dorado in the first game, Nate went to another lost city in the sequel. This time it’s Shambala, a lost city near Himalayas in Nepal. What awaits him this time?
The trophy isn’t changed much since the first game, but this time the multiplayer trophy is also added, although no online trophies is needed for getting the Platinum. Rate: 5/10
#8 Toughest Soul Trophy (Demon’s Souls)
Ah, 1 Platinum trophy that isn’t easy to obtained. Because the game itself is quite hard, you can die in the Tutorial section. I’m serious!
Demon’s Souls takes us back to the Dark Age where a Kingdom named Boletaria was cursed with a fog that brings out demons. It’s the player’s duty to collect the souls and break the curse from the kingdom.
Although this game is developed by Japanese developer but the mechanics is heavily influenced by Western RPG. Multiplayer game is included, and I recommend play with others anyway, including to get the Platinum trophy. Rate: 8/10
#9 Master of Time (Final Fantasy XIII-2)
Feels so familiar? Yep, this one really looks like a Platinum trophy for Final Fantasy XIII. I don’t know why both games have the exact Platinum trophy, although the game is still related but still…
This game is the direct sequel for Final Fantasy XIII. In the ending of FF XIII, Lightning went missing and Serah wanted to find her. When monsters attacked her town, a stranger named Noel helped her and claimed to be come from the future. He also said that he met Lightning in Valhalla at the end of the time. Thus the Serah and Noel’s journey to travel space in time began.
Many aspects from FF XIII remain the same in Final Fantasy XIII-2, including Paradigm Shift system. But this game is less linear, thanks to the Historia Crux system that allows player to move to different space and time. The Platinum trophy is also easier than the predecessor. Rate: 4/10
#10 King of the Hill (God of War III)
The 3rd main series from God of War, this is original game not HD Remastered one. With the same mechanics from the previous games, God of War III still has gore and bloody actions.
The story revolves right after God of War II ends. When Kratos and The Titans climbed the Mount Olympus to defeat Zeus, the battle between Titans and Gods finally clashed. Knowing that Kratos was being used by Titans to take revenge, he searched Pandora Box to defeat both Titans and Zeus.
Again, the Platinum trophy itself is quite easy to obtain. Rate: 3/10
#11 Golden Completed (Persona 4 Golden)
This is the first Platinum trophy I got in PS Vita console. Also the main reason why I bought PS Vita, although I borrowed the game from my friend. :-P
Persona 4 Golden is an enhanced port from original version in PS2 console. The Golden version adds more feature that aren’t included in the original, such as new characters, Personas, Social Links, quests and much more.
In Inaba, there’s urban legend about Midnight Channel that appeared every midnight. Followed after that, a murder would be occurred and a group of students decided to investigate the murder and found out about their other selves called Persona.
This game combines RPG and Simulation, but it is blended perfectly. Some scenes are hilarious, I can’t stop laughing. The story is great and has some plot twists. The Platinum trophy is quite easy to get, but it needs 2 playthrough minimum to get it. Rate: 5/10
That’s all for now, for the rest of the trophy will be at the next post. I got something to do (again) :-P
The Platinum (2) In the earlier post, I've talked about the Platinum trophies that I've obtained. So far until now, I have 21 Platinum trophies but I've talked only the first 3 of them.
