❝ I’m losing constants over time.
If nothing else, I have the sea. ❞

Bailey was a beauty, the classic sort. She was born a farmer girl, hair in braids and helping her mother inside their home. She grew up watching the sun rise over the fields, feeling the fresh blades of grass under her feet, and listening to the laughter of her siblings in the light of the fire. Bailey was the fourth child; three older brothers and three younger sisters. The Caspia family suffered to make ends meet, often barely scraping by during the winter seasons. But sometimes, tragedy was unavoidable. The two youngest Caspia children died, one caught a fever and passed while the other suffered from malnutrition before the winter was even part way over. Bailey took it the hardest as the person who spent nearly all her time with her sisters, but she set about helping her family in any way that she could. Bailey began making more clothes to sell in the market, but when that barely scrounged up much money she resulted to new measures.
Dressed up as a boy, she found work at the port. Her parents were unhappy, but when the extra money began to help the family it became apparent that it was a necessity. Bailey learned the meaning of hardwork; lady hands no longer soft and smooth but hard and callous. She spent nearly all hours of the day at the port, coming home late at night before she would just collapse into the bed she shared with her younger sister growing older every day. Tired as Bailey was, she put family before everything else. She’s the kind of person who would die for anyone who held a piece of her heart. One day, fate tempted Bailey with an offer. An adventure off to sea and money that would set her family for quite some time. New shoes, new clothes, more food. But a young girl such as herself who should have already been married off to a man going out to sea? Heavens no. Bailey was already talk of the town, still at home and beautiful as ever.
So Bailey disappeared off into the night, onto a ship, and keeping her guise of being a man. She cut her hair, tossed all her clothes that gave any indication to her being a woman, and let the blue water take her away. For months, Bailey was able to keep up with the other men but her secret was bound to unravel. Caught, the men and captain of the ship bound Bailey and tossed her off into the sea to drown. Accepting her fate as she descended into the water, Bailey was calm. The beautiful woman she saw in her vision had to be a twist in her vision, the air leaving her lungs causing her to hallucinate. But no, the woman extended a hand out to Bailey and she took it without hesitation. Becoming a woman of the sea, Bailey realized death was not at her door but her family was no longer in her life. For years, Bailey suffered alone. Regret. Guilt. Shame. It took all those years for Bailey to finally recover and realize that she had a new life, one that she needed to make the best and take advantage of now. She’d been gifted another chance at life by a goddess and Bailey didn’t want it to have been wasted.
For a long time, she explored the oceans. She visited places that she dreamed of visiting, met people who changed her life, and set about helping as many people as she could. Bailey always returned to the one place that she always felt was home and that was Olympus. Now, present day, Bailey stays at Olympus most of the time. The people are her favorite and she loves to listen to the stories of those who come to the town. Especially the demigods. Bailey always feels like she can help people there, giving her a feeling of purpose. On occasion, Bailey does venture away from Olympus. Once a year, she’ll venture far out into the oceans to explore once again and take a little vacation. But as always, she’ll come home to Olympus. It’s the one place Bailey feels she has roots after her previous life. One big change for Bailey is having something that is her own. She spent so much of her life sharing everything and being handed down everything. Now she’s got an apartment at Olympus that has become her little getaway.
Bailey is a girl full of wanderlust, wanting to see every part of the world. She’s fiercely loyal to those in her life, will do anything they want or need. Her priority is ensuring those in her life are happy, healthy, and secure. However, that’s always been a downside to Bailey. She’ll put absolutely everyone in front of herself and forgets that she’s a person with needs and wants as well. Bailey is a girl full of sunshine, happy and never a bad thing to say about anyone—most of the time. As positive as Bailey is, she is very short-tempered and gets upset very easily. She tries to keep it under control, but her efforts sometimes fail. She also tends to be impulsive and will do things on a whim without thinking about the consequences. Bailey lives her life with the goal to do more than what she did in her previous life.
Bailey ( Caspia ) has been in town for centuries, is portrayed by Lili Reinhart, and is a taken character.
