logan huntzberger's #1 hater
My friend and I used to watch Gilmore girls afterschool each day and debate the previous day’s episode on the way home.
To this day we still argue about the ‘best boyfriend’. We agree that Dean was terrible, but she swears down that Logan is the best whereas I maintain that he started as awful and continued to be awful, whereas at least Jess showed a capacity for maturity.
It can get quite heated.

I know Assassins Creed isn’t exactly known for accuracy, but it’s very obvious that it was written by Americans when the Thames is on a map as the ‘Thames river’ rather than the ‘River Thames’
”but men fertility window longer its natural for old man and young woman to marry” i dont know how to explain to you that having your father die when youre a child bc he had you at 50 is a net negative for society. Youve never thought about the needs of another person a day in your life.
Also men's fertility is only longer because producing sperm doesn't use up the body's resources the way female reproduction does. The "quality" of the sperm doesn't remain in tip-top shape throughout old age. It declines like anything else. It's not *natural* for old men and young women to pair up as reproductive mates; it's just *possible*. There's a difference. Like, it's also possible for a human to go live in the woods alone, without any human companionship for years. That is not natural for our species. It was also possible for us to destroy large parts of the natural world to make our concrete deserts. That isn't natural either.
advanced paternal age is a huge health risk for both the mother (young or not) AND the fetus. it isn't "natural", not to mention that referring to things as natural doesn't make it morally correct or good for society? there are some genetic disorders that are linked specifically to advanced paternal age (40+). the actual healthy fertility window for men is barely longer than women, it's just more pseudoscience made up to make men feel less bad for being predators.
As a teenager I had a job working with kids with disabilities. 95% of the parents were older/ older man and younger woman. The only exception was the parents of twins who had amputated limbs following a car accident. All of the other kids had genetic disorders and older parents.
Urghhhh my game keeps crashing half way through this quest. This is my fourth go now.
I actually completed it once only for it to crash before I could get to a safe zone to save

My first ever ask 🥰
I know better than this but obviously sometimes I give in to temptation and comment on a TRA post with ‘hey… have you met basic biology?’
Cue today, OP reblogs me with ‘point and laugh’ then blocks me. This means that there’s multiple TRAs calling for me to justify my bigoted opinion, which I obviously can’t do because they’ve all blocked me so I don’t get notifications telling me they want this justification, let alone have the ability to provide it.
Not that I want to (there’s zero point with this lot) but I just can’t stand the TRA use of blocking to vilify people but prevent them from actually defending themselves.
sometimes people just don't want to deal with transphobia, beth.
If you think I’m transphobic and don’t want to deal with transphobia, why are you looking though my blog and commenting on my posts? Seems counter intuitive.
you misunderstood me. i said some people dont want to deal with transphobia, which is totally valid and understandable. however, i, personally, think it can be entertaining to a certain point. cue why some people block radfems and others, like me, prefer to fuck around & find out & have some laughs while at it lmao
It seems like a sad and lonely existence hosing to be a misogynistic keyboard warrior, but hey, you do you. Have a nice day x

for some reason its mostly transphobic outlets talking about this, but a model was forced to resign after coming out as a trans man, after already having faced a ton of exorsexist transphobia while out as nb, because he was told he was "insufficiently masculine" to model as a man and stopped getting work opportunities after coming out.
if you wanna check out his work, here's his insta.
#definitely not the point of the post but also insufficiently masculine???#i could find photos of about a hundred cis guys who like that#some of whom are in the modelling industry
no I think that is part of the point. obviously requiring a sufficiently masculine appearance is itself silly, but yall are right! if he were a cis man they would not say this! it does not matter how he looks because they would say anything to justify punishing him for "taking away" their pretty cis girl model! its an example of how transmasculine masculinity is not treated the same as cishet/square masculinity. when cisfemininity benefits you (like if you make money off of conventionally attractive cis women models) transmasculinity is an act of property theft in your mind.
This is an excellent example of how transphobia against trans men isn’t only transphobia, but a combination of transphobia, misogyny, AND a hatred of their masculinity. This trans men is directly affected in a negative way for being a trans MAN. It also shows the double-bind, this trans man is barred from the agency because he no longer identifies with a woman gender identity or femininity, but ALSO is barred for not meeting standards of masculinity (even though this guy has a very masculine face and he looks like any other cis male model). This is the space many trans men find ourselves in, where we are punished both for rejecting womanhood/femininity is a woman way, and are excluded from manhood and masculinity (while also being demonized for wanting that masculinity and manhood by other queer and trans people, and being essentially blamed for being trans).
One thing in particular stood out to me:
It’s a little unrelated, but it shows an example of something I’ve seen a lot of: how queerness is seen as inherently feminine to the point that other queer and trans people will weaponize feminine terms against people who don’t want them, especially and specifically trans men. I’ve seen tweets, for example, especially from cis gay men or trans women, along the lines of “if you’re queer and aren’t comfortable being called ‘girl’ you need to unpack that and it’s a red flag”. Again, just because YOU are comfortable with femininity does not erase the real trauma it inflicts upon transmasculine people and men. Also the line that “when cisfeminity benefits you, transmasculinity is an act of property theft in your mind” is brilliant.
Sorry but you’re all getting so tied up in queer theory and being offended that you’re forgetting about reality. This is the model:
In no way does this model look like a man. A buzz cut and boxer shorts do not make someone a man. Look at the hips, the shoulders, the hands, the brow. It is not transphobic to point out biological reality.
They are selling clothes for males and want to model those on a male. This is quite clearly a female and the fit of the clothes they want modelled are not designed for a female body.
Everyone point & laugh
Someone doesn't spend enough time in gay male spaces where you will find literally hundreds of cis men who look exactly like this. I literally had a manager that was in his 40s who looked like an afrolatino version of this guy and he was a cis man in a long term marriage with his husband who was almost equally twinky.
@baited-beth is a radfem, to nobody's surprise. TERFs can't go a single post without embarrassing themselves, that's how you know. If you're gonna call someone's hips feminine, at least choose someone who has more hips than a starved 14 yo twink...
Dude looks as masc as many cis models. Fuck off TERF :)
Christ alive. I’m not the one embarrassing myself here.
My point is not whether the model looks masculine. My point is that the model looks female.
Masculine and feminine are gender (I.e. the social ideas of what each sex should act like). Male and female are sex. While men tend to dress in a masculine fashion, this is not what makes them men. Their sex does. Similarly, women are more likely to dress in a feminine fashion, but this is not what makes them women. Their sex does.
The model dresses in a masculine fashion, but is female and looks female. You just have to glance at the hip to shoulder ratio and the centre of gravity. If this model was in a campaign with a group of men dressed identically, it would be bloody obvious which one was female.
The modelling agency wants male models. The model is not male, so understandably has not been given those jobs.
Also, to make clear, I think gender non conformity is great and people should be allowed to be as masculine or feminine as they want without judgement. But I think it is sexist to say that by dressing in a masculine fashion you must be a man, and dressing in a feminine fashion you must be a woman.
More hate watching.
Why does Julia ask the waiter if he speaks English so she can ask a very simple question about the location of the toilet (using an English colloquialism he may not recognise) and then go on to speak fluent French to him?

We cannot and must not forget Magdalen Berns. We have to protect her memory and legacy.
Perhaps some sort of annual award ceremony, for feminist use of social media, in her name?
“Patriarchy is a system that works to men’s advantage over women, but it also sets men in competition with each other, which creates losers. Men who lose find it easy to blame women, rather than see how the system kicks weaker and disadvantaged men in the teeth. However, it is not the responsibility of women to mop away the tears of the men who lose through patriarchy.”
