A collection of stories posted for the Mystrade Is Sacrifice event in May 2026. Originated and maintained by @paialovespie, with collaboration by @ewebie and @meansgirlwrites.
This event is intended to inspire new works in the Mystrade fandom on the theme of Sacrifice.
FAQ:
Can I post a WIP? : Yes, as long as at least one chapter is added to the collection by July 1, 2026.
What do you mean by "Sacrifice"?: This theme is up for interpretation. Your submission should include some element involving a sacrifice by one or both characters, or a plot centering around a sacrifice that affects them. Definition: sacrifice (noun): the act of giving up or losing something of value for the sake of something else.
Can my story have other relationship pairings?: Yes, but Mycroft and Greg must be the primary romantic pairing featured in the story.
Can I post crossovers with another fandom?: Yes, but all other rules must be followed.
I added my story - Why don't I see my story in the collection?: All stories added to this collection are moderated, meaning they must be confirmed by a collection moderator before they are added. Stories will be confirmed within 24 hours - please be patient :)
I finished my story early - can I add it to the collection now?: The collection will not be open for new story submissions until May 1, 2026.

Hey so, I thought maybe we should participate in a blackout day to protest against the new tumblr update.
Let's try March 19. So that people have time to see this and plan for it.
Do not log in or use tumblr for 24 on this day.
Reblog this and make a tag chain to maximise visbilityāthe more people aware of this awful update, the better.
Circle the date on your calendar, or set a reminder on your phone. As a bonus it will be a good break from social media. Spend the day doing things you likeāstart that book you've been waiting to read, go outside, watch a good movie... just do anything except open tumblr.
I think we should show tumblr that we are not happy with this update in every possible way we can.

I used to like tumblr and I'd like to cling to it, but this update is just horrible. It makes me not want to continue posting at all. It is utterly demotovating as-is with my being mature labelled, but this update is just intolerable. I do not know how I will feel motivated to post at all in the future if this update is not rolled back.
I know I don't have much reach, especially with a label on, but I hope this reaches at least a few people.

I really don't want to see my once favorite site ruined beyond repair. I really want to continue enjoying this site. I have a community of people here which I have built over years, a community which I deeply love and appreciate and cherish interacting with. My blog thrives on being able to see feedback in reblogs on my post. The whole point of posting is that people see it and engage with it. This update is at best nonsensical and at worst, going to shred off many creators from the platform and rip apart any last bits of fun we have using it.

I've been drawing illustrations with Mycroft and Greg for many years, but I've never really published them. Therefore, I will just leave some old works here, and later I will publish some more recent sketches with their participation :3
Domaystic comes from ādomesticā + āMayā and it's a prompt event that runs throughout May with a list of 31 prompts for its 31 days. And also 5 alternatives are back. The overall theme is that of the domestic trope: anything inside, outside, beside the house or that has that normalcy flavor of everyday life.
