|| I really wish I knew how to contact crimson-memory/priest-akhenaden.Â
I still donât know what completely went down that caused them to drop everything, but...I miss them dearly. I doubt they will pop in on my blog from time to time, but a whole new light was shed on me when it came to Akhenaden and even Marikâs father. Thereâs a hole in my heart saved for their Akhenaden. I know most of what we did was crack, but the chemistry was there.
They were among my partners I strived to continue on Thiefy for. I was inspired by their writing. Artwork. Sense of humor. I looked forward to plotting with them Other people I had a connection with had left. Iâm thankful for the few who are still here--Ten, Niece, Fia, Cannimariku, Tag, Atem...I love all of yâall.Â
Itâs been hard for me to find partners these days. It used to be that people just popped up and we just did whatever came naturally. Now people are âS E L E C T I V E O N L Yâ and that makes things hard when trying to establish a connection. Or they already have the character you play already taken by a friend and will not play with others.Â
Idk just some thoughts.Â
"You don't need a birthday. You're important enough to deserve being celebrated every single day."
âWell well, arenât you flattering.âÂ
@shadowgodling
âDay of birth celebrations are pointless. Why--I do not even remember my own. Congrats, your mother birthed you. You have been alive on this gods-forsaken hunk of dirt for however amount of years.â

Oi, listen here! Youâd be lucky to land a catch like me, especially in marriage!
You stole my victory in a board game! Why would I marry the likes of you?!
The thief says nothing as he moves beside the Star to rest his head on his shoulder. He was battered and blood was splattered over him--making it unclear if it was his or someone else's.
Star sniffed haughtily and delicately made the motions to pick up the humanâs arm and move him away. âI do wish you would take the occasional moment to practise the art of introspection. Or perhaps common sense. You are filthy. Go wash.â
Bakurah let out a dry chuckle and moved off of him. Exhaustion was clear in his eyes, but his smile did not betray how he really felt. âItâs not my blood, do not worry.âÂ
âThat was not, in fact, my main concern.â The star scowled and brushed off his shoulder.
âFor what reason are you here spreading this blood around if it is not yours? I would think humans must have invented some reliable methods of maintaining hygiene.â He complained, hiding the sharpness in his inspecting eyes with the pomp of his reaction. âYou look awful in general.â
âI am a dirty commoner where I come from.â he muttered to the star. âPerfumes and soaps are not items I can easily come across. I just have the river.â A low sigh escaped him as he shed his robes off into a pile behind him.Â
âI have no slept in three days.â He says it so offhandedly to the point where it was concerning.Â
|| MIA because I... a) am still dealing with toxic family b) got a new job c) still working on moving
But hey! Have some photos of the cosplay coming out of retirement after a solid five years. It felt good to be my muse in public.Â

âI...am not dead...yet.â
bakurakingofthieves:
Bakurah let out a laugh at the challenge and folded his arms across his chest. He had let himself grow too cocky over his first two victories, so he was confident he could beat Joey in such a simple game.Â
âI would love to see you try. Go on, losers go first.âÂ
Not liking being referred to as a loser, even if it was only from a simple game like this, he pouted a bit and rolled his dice, moving his piece forward four squares.
âHm⊠Nothinâ. Slow start but I can already tell thisâll be an easy win.â
Bakurah grinned and snatched up the dice. Four could be beat easily. He gave Joey another cocky glance and tossed the dice.Â
...Two?!Â
He narrowed his eyes at the number, almost as if he was trying to will the number to change. When that didnât work, he begrudgingly moved his piece. It was just the first round. This was nothing.Â
[crashing noises]
âFor Sekmetâs S A K E!âÂ
A snort. Joey will show him!
He eyed the bars again, intent on winning this time before setting the game up. Two candy bars equals two more rounds. If the thief won twice already, and Joey was able to win these next two rounds, then theyâd be evenly matched.
Then they would obviously have to raid Ryouâs cupboard for one more thing to win to see who was the ultimate winner. That or the winner of the fifth round could place a dare or command on the other one to see if theyâd do it.
âExactly. Iâll beat your ass this time, you wait and see!â

.Â
Joey pouted a bit in response to the thiefâs little confession. âI knew there were more than two here! Here I am thinkinâ I wonât get any cause you won, when in fact, you stole most of âem! Put the otherâs back so it gives me a chance to win some rather than askinâ you for yours.â
Though Joey felt like kind of an idiot for not realising that he had actually put out more than two from Ryouâs cupboard in the first place. Then again, Bakurah was kind of an idiot as well for admitting he took the rest of them.
Snakes and ladders was easy enough - heâd definitely win at least one round! Bakurah just happened to experience beginners luckâŠâŠâŠ.. Twice.
The thief tapped his chin, grinning broadly in amusement. He could put them back, and draw this game out further, but he liked getting Joey all huffy like this. The game was simple enough for him to understand, especially since he had never played before. Perhaps he could try to win the rest out of sheer luck. Besides--he really didnât need all of the candy bars.Â
Feigning a pout, he set the stolen two candy bars back to where he found them. âFair enough. I might as well make you work for it. Whereâs the fun in simply giving them to you?âÂ
