Chebera Churchura National Park is a rich and untouched wilderness area in Southern Part of Ethiopia. The Park is fortunate in possessing numerous rivers and streams and four small creator lakes which are reason for the rich wildlife resources of the area. It's home for over 37 mammals and 237 species of bird life. Common mammals include the African elephant, hippopotamus, Cape buffalo, lion, and leopard.
