Time to celebrate the first snow of the year, and our first proper Snow Day in over 2 years! I was supposed to post this last month for the 10th anniversary of this drawing, but I busted my finger and couldn't draw for a while.
That was the best April Fools gimmick ever! Button pressing? Cats? Friendship? And even cute badges you could earn!
It was kinda hard, but we did it~! We unlocked all three Booper Badges!

I haven't done one of these in years! Thought I might do one since Sabrina is getting such good reception.
Okay so, her full name is Sabrina Justice. She's an actress, but she started as a model. She's also a good singer.
My inspirations for her, from the top of my head, were Rihanna, Eve Gilles, and Halle Berry. And My Sister, but she does not know and should not know lol
As to how she met Mandark, I was thinking that he was probably on a business trip or something, and they met at the airport, probably on a first class flight.
She's a known celebrity. She presented the Ac//adem//y Aw//ards that same year, but he recognizes her from her modeling. She was the original model for a bathing suit that Dee Dee used to wear.
As to how he managed to get her to like him, I'm not so sure. But she probably noticed he wasn't feeling that well, and he seemed sweet to her ( hurt but sweet lol ).
If you count the flight, they've only been on two dates. Whether they will last or not is really up to Mandark, but for now she is taking things super slow. All I know is that the beach date will be in every tabloid, Have fun, Dee Dee!

Early FusionFall Character Guide pages for Dexter, Dee Dee, and Mandark. EDIT BECAUSE I FORGOT COMPUTRESS!
Okay so, the working title for DexLabs was "Dextech".
Dexter and Mandark are 14, and Dee Dee is 17.
Dexter became a full hermit after getting rich, spending his days at the underground level of the laboratory with Computress as his only company, to the point he felt uncomfortable around other humans, until the war required him to get out more.
"Artificial Life" is the big scientific pursuit, leading to the creation of Nanos.
DexLabs first commercial success was the "Pink Pony PDA", which was Dee Dee's idea.
Mee Mee and Lee Lee were implied to be in the game.
Dee Dee writes/reads Fanfic lmaooo #WeStan
Mandark got the idea for researching Imaginary Energy from watching Dee Dee play with her Imaginary Friend on a surveillance camera.
Dexter was credited alone for the creation of Nanos, so Mandark is working on making his own perfected Nano using Imaginary Energy. In The Future, the recruit brings the Nano technology to The Past, which formula uses Imaginary Energy, and both scientists are credited.
Nothing new on Computress, but she remains the Queen of Taking No Nonsense 💅

The height and color charts of the Original Style Guide vs the Revival Style Guide
I'm noticing that the Pantone skin colors stayed the same, except for Dexter's Dad ( PMS 149 / PMS 727 ).
They forgot to specify the Pantone for Mandark's glasses on this copy of the Original Style Guide, but it might be safe to assume it is the same as the Reboot's ( PMS 630 ).
The blue in Dexter's glasses ( PMS 297 / PMS 305 ) is darker than the blue in Mandark's ( PMS 630 ), but Dee Dee's eyes ( PMS 298 ) have the darkest blue.
Dexter's parents shrunk by about a head and a half in the Reboot, and Dexter didn't shrink that much. It looks that way, but it's only because Dee Dee's proportions got more slender.

;; In celebration of completing my Rainbow Garden in Animal Crossing and the 10th Anniversary of this blog, I thought it was time to unearth some fics I drafted on Google Docs some years ago, under a document I used to list hybrid flowers I was breeding in Animal Crossing, dating back to 2021.
As someone who has Dyslexia, it was more comfortable to write these as drabbles, or ficlets. The Flower Inventory Series contains 3 FusionFall ficlets, testing two styles of writing. They're currently undergoing revisions to make sure the writing flows and the tone holds. The fics will be linked below as they are posted.

Three days, four days, but you’ve only been there two. The coldness of the lab gets to you.
I was a prisoner to my duty; I served its sentence. Still no result was satisfying, no effort was fruitful, for there was a fog in my brain I could not see through, and a faint headache in my brow I could not ignore.
Then like the bristling rain after a heatwave, in came my Angel like a vision. Radiant and beautiful as always; a soothing bliss to these sore eyes.
Her presence only meant one thing: It was lunch time, and I hadn’t eaten all day.
“Hello~!” She dragged her speech playfully, but ever so concise.
She carried with her a paper bag and a drink carrier. How she managed to bounce her step so gracefully without spilling them was beyond me; it was a perk of her charm, a fruit of her ballet training.
“Good afternoon”, I hummed to myself, unable to reply by word.
She put the food on the nearest surface and helped herself to a drink of her fruit punch soda. It was now that I distinguished the smell of the food she had brought: the smell of Burger Frenzy fries and a burger, and a third item I was too tired to identify, but soon awoke the hunger I had been ignoring.
While I wasn’t a fan of fast foods, sometimes the body cannot deny it. When you’ve been at the lab for days on end, and the coldness of the room starts to make you sick, you suddenly find yourself craving the greasy taste of a burger; anything that could make your body sweat in the midst of it all, something for your body to digest over the hours.
How she knew she could make it work is beyond me, all I know is she changed my mind. It’s yet another testament to her magic, possibly due to her experience with her brother.
She fixed her straw and fixed her eyes at me.
She looked at me with mild concern.
“Wow, you really need a break.”
She put her cold drink down and leaned closer. She held my face and said “Look at you, you look so red”. The sting of the cold wet fingers made me flinch, prompting a soft “Sorry!” from her as she retrieved to dry them.
She gently brushed the hair off my brow with the long side of her hand, in a swift, soothing motion.
I tugged her hand right back and placed it on my brow, to fully enjoy the sensation.
“Thank you for the food,” I managed to say. “I can feel my creative juices at work again”.
