I want to own a house and have a garden in the back and a fruit tree in front and I want to tell the neighborhood kids that they can come pick the fruits when they want as long as they leave some for others, and I want to host dinners for friends and make too much food and make everyone go home with some leftovers, and I want to grow vegetables in my garden and beg my neighbors to take all this zucchini off my hands or I'll have to eat zucchini for every meal for the next few months, and I want to give and feed and love but I need more goddamn money first

Okay so today I was getting laundry done, and on my way from the laundry room walked past the apartment block's front door, and there were two kids at the door, both wearing bike helmets and one was clutching his arm and looking miserable. For a second there, as I was waiting for the elevator and the un-injured kid let his buddy in, I considered whether I need to stop to help, though the kid's arm didn't look badly hurt. At least I saw no blood and he wouldn't have been gripping it like that if it had been broken.

Anyway the kid walked past me just fine, and was already halfway up the stairs to the next floor before I had made any decision. Although the kid was sighing, moaning, and whimpering like a kicked dog the whole way up, he really did seem to be more upset than actually physically hurt. Just before the elevator arrived, I heard one of the apartment doors on the upper floor open and a woman's voice asking the kid what happened to him.

The kid, still whining and whimpering in the most tragic and pitiful possible way, answered her, saying "I fell on my bike and I got hurt! ;____;"

And just as the elevator door opened and I stepped inside, I heard the woman say "didn't I just tell you to wait in the hallway until I get there and don't go outside by yourself without me?"

Worth noting that considering the volume of the kid's whimpering and the level of soundproofing in the apartments, there's no way she heard it through the door and was stepping to the hallway to investigate. From the tone of her voice, she had evidently told the kid to not go outside yet before she's gotten her shoes on, and by the time she was just about to step out of the apartment, her kid was already coming back home after successfully completing an Eat Shit On A Bicycle Speedrun Any 0% before she had the time to get her shoes on.

you dont know how fucking passionate i am about drawing terzo with his wrinkles. seeing him, and the papas being drawn smooth face activates my fight skills. (i dont actually engage with the art but i angrily and silently shake my fist from the sidelines)

old people can be hot too!!! please dont be afraid to draw those defined lines.

and like- i have no problem if you're depicting them in their younger years- but when it's supposed to be their current selves being depicted smoothed out- yeah, I don't like it.
