Polar sketch + warm up sketches

Lately I've been feeling a bit conflicted with my artistic decisions and the lack of ideas, so in between my university projects I started sketching out polar on a chandelier. I might finish it but I'm not sure ಠ⁠﹏⁠ಠ

Wip work in progress + some of my warm up sketches. I unfortunately have a lot university projects and some health issues so my private projects go to the side, but i wanted to gave out an update.

Everyday I at least try to make one warm-up sketch of an animal from pinterest, so i thought i could share.

Another wip, I'm definitely more happy with this style direction, unfortunately I don't have that much time to finish it early, but I'll keep workin on it (^_^;)))

Wip of the lineart, it's slightly different to what I'm used to but i think it's for the better, the thickness of the lines limits me so I can focus on the important parts better.

I'm kinda posting to motivate myself to keep going ( ´,_ゝ`)

New illustration wip, i came to conclusion, that i have more fun drawing characters in their environments and i kinda went overboard. But i have a feeling that with this drawing i might discover what type of art direction i want to go with.

This started from me sketching two poses and choosing to make a loop out of it. I might try to slowly finish it in between of other assignments i got =͟͟͞͞(꒪ᗜ꒪‧̣̥̇)

I'm feeling quite conflicted about this drawing, i tried to do the lineart differently 3 times to try a different style, but i'm still unsure what i want to do.

Maybe i might do something else, i'll think about it (๑•́ -•̀)

5 hour sketch/drawing, i dunno, i kinda want to get out of my slump with art and do more, so i thought that i could time to time do sketches like this of my characters.

I might not do it regularly, due to the amount of assignments and projects i have to finish, but i guess i need sometimes new things to do, to not get stuck in the loop ┐(´ー｀)┌

Polar linocut project

This is a bit of a style change attempt, but also my project for big linocut project (A2 format: 420mm×594mm), today I printed this digital drawing and copied it on lineoleum.

I might colour it in the future though.

Also I'm sorry for not posting so often I feel unwell lately "( – ⌓ – )

Finalllyyy the linocut assignment is doooneee, here is the linoleum cut and a print example.

Obviously the digital drawing doesnt fully replicate the linocut, but for different formats i wanted to achieve different effects.

My back and neck can rest now (◡ ‿ ◡ .)

Working with more pixaleted lineart is quite a challenge, but the final results are always interesting for me, I might do more simple oc sketches such as these.

Mr. Katz anatomy classes in colour

I had an idea to make the coloring simple, but it didn't fit and looked flat. It was quite difficult for me to make a balance between what is important in the image and trying to put all the contrast and saturated colors in the middle of the drawing.

Felix in clothing

I wanted to draw something simpler, I now generally have a better idea on how to change my art style. One thing i want to do is thicker lineart and less focus on pointless detail. Also my bigger Mr.Katz illustration is now colored and shaded and I'll post it soon :3
