Boise is my place of birth and the place that I have spent all but 7 or 8 years of my life. The Capitol building is just a few blocks from the house I lived in as a child. Boise has been a very hard town for me and I’m beginning to feel quite detached from it. Without even trying, my portrait of the Capitol Building (symbolic of the entire state) came out rather dark and gothic looking despite its beautiful neo-classical architecture.

The images and audio relate to the six realms of Tibetan Buddhism: the God realm, the Warring Gods realm, the Desire realm, the Animal realm, the Hungry Ghosts realm and the Hell realm.
