I’ve just finished Chapter Six!
Back to the Future Robots - Chapter Six (on Wattpad) https://www.wattpad.com/1629675981-back-to-the-future-robots-chapter-six?utm_source=web&utm_medium=tumblr&utm_content=share_reading&wp_uname=McFly198579 Aren't we all just souls in our own bodies? But what happens when the soul awakens in a body it wasn't intended to inhabit? Is it still considered human? . DISCLAIMER Some characters and the original movies do not belong to me. The original movies belong to Bob Gale, Steven Spielberg, and other producers who created the original movies. This is simply an alternate storyline made up by myself that is not canon to the original movies. I would highly recommend at least watching the original Back to the Future movies as this may be a more confusing read if you haven't at least watched the original movies. Though this fan fiction is a bit different from the original movies. Inspired by a weird idea I had where Marty McFly became a robot.
Despite being a commercial failure, the DMC Delorean remains one of the most iconic cars in history, thanks in no small part to a certain time-travelling doctor.

Opposites Attract (Doc Brown x New Neighbor)
Doc's POV
It was early one morning and I was rummaging in my garage, the inspiration for my newest project swirling in my mind as I scrambled to find even a scrap, no, a mere atom of paper to write it down on. Finding the blessed paper and the inch of a pencil that was left from all the writing I've done in the garage, I was able to jot it down, just in time before a sound of a large truck caught my attention.
Narrowing my eyes as I turned and left the paper and pencil on the table. Being blinded by the morning sun as I pulled open the large wooden sliding garage door, and raising my hand to block some of the rays that stung my retinas.
The new neighbor that was rumored about moving across the street arrived. Curious. That house has sat empty since I was a boy, at least I believe so anyway. I never put much thought into the houses across the street. At the time I was too preoccupied with Jules Verne. My all time favorite author. Smiling to myself as I watched the movers around the large box truck, absentmindedly peering at them from the doorway of my garage.
The sound of Copernicus making a small noise brought me back to the present. "Are you hungry, boy?" I asked as I stopped down to pet the puppy that was at my feet.
He gave a small yip before biting the end of my robe for a moment to get me to hurry up. Shaking my head, I followed the small dog into the house for breakfast and a well needed cup of coffee.
-later that day-
Hearing the various clocks go off in the house I hummed as I glanced at the picture of Einstein on the mantel. Folding the newspaper I was reading while I drank my coffee, I closed the footrest of my recliner and stood, a few of my joints popping in refusal as I did. Copernicus followed to the garage and found his bed, laying down to watch me from a bit of a distance since some of my projects tended to... Explode.
Glancing at him for a moment he put a paw over his eyes as he knew today would have more explosions as per usual. Finding the paper from this morning, I picked it up as my brown eyes scanned it. Taking in the information before smiling as I knew what to do, grabbing what was left of a baseball helmet, some metal supports, lights, and wiring I started to work on my latest invention, a mind reading device.
Looking at the sketch on the paper I hummed for a moment as I scratched my head. Debating on the dimensions this thing should have. Knowing it would have to be on the head it would have to be light enough that it would cause balance issues, but strong enough it wouldn't collapse in on itself. Keeping the bottom supports that connect to the helmet at 6 inches from the helmet and working the way up, I needed a way to connect it to the person I wanted to try and read the mind of.
Leaning back as I scanned the garage I found a suction cup that I could attach a wire to, and stick it to the forehead of the test subject- er volunteer.
Working for a bit longer and getting everything connected to a power device that was hopefully at a high enough wattage and amperage to power the invention, but low enough to not destroy it.
Putting it on a test mannequin head I turned it on and stepped back, the humming sound from the device as the bulbs lit up told me it had enough power. Stepping to it cautiously as I was going to put it on, the device made a different noise as the bulbs got flashed between being bright and dimming. Picking up Copernicus from his bed I went around the corner, holding the small dog close as I awaited the explosion.
Jumping slightly as I heard it, and poking my head up to see the device. I put Copernicus down, telling him to stay as I ran to put out the little flames that showed up on the top of the contraption. Sighing as I turned the machine off and sitting down, I heard someone clear their throat behind me. Turning as I rose a brow I was met with a young woman, nicely dressed as she had her own brows furrowed towards me in what I could only assume was annoyance.
"Hello, you must be the new neighbor" I stood quickly as I made my way over to her.
She scanned me for a moment as I most likely had some water from the fire extinguisher on me, as well as a little bit of soot.
"What was going on over here?" She tried to see around me before I moved into her way.
"I was working on a new experiment. Nothing to worry about." Using a rag from my pocket I wiped my hands.
"It sounded like something exploded. I was just walking up the driveway to introduce myself and it sounded like the roof came off your garage." She looked up at me with confusion.
Chuckling gently I nodded. "Nothing to worry about., I'm Doctor Emmett Brown."
"I'm (y/n) (l/n). Try not to have any failed rocket experiments launch into my house, I'd like to live in it for a while and not have some mad scientist burn it down." Shaking her head she turned to start walking down the driveway again.
Frowning from hearing the 'mad scientist' part of the sentence, as well as the tone, I spoke.
"I'm far from a mad scientist, thank you. The roof of my garage is quite sound actually." I watched as she stopped and turned on her heels.
"From the looks of how old this property is, and from how much things probably explode in it, we'll see about that. Now I trust you'll keep it down, and your explosions to a minimum, yeah?"
Shaking my head I put my hands on my hips as I looked at her. "I'll keep it down as long as you stay off my property, uninvited Miss (L/N)."
Scoffing she waved her hand. "I only came over to this death trap to introduce myself as the neighborly thing to do. I have no intentions of anything further." She turned and walked off towards her house again. Leaving me fuming in my driveway as Copernicus whined at my feet.
"I don't care much for her either, telling me how to live my life on my own property. If we're lucky we won't have to see the likes of her much, don't you think?"
Copernicus trotted along next to me as we went back into the garage. As unsavory as that conversation was, she sure was beautiful. Though that was only an observation and nothing more.
