Pov - You decided to get revenge on Cheryl and Toni

You were fuming.

Lately Cheryl and Toni had been pulling loads of pranks on you. They thought it was absolutely hilarious when they would leave rubber snakes all over the house to scare you. Or when they filled your room full of balloons. They weren't exactly smart pranks but they enjoyed it.

However don't me wrong it was the usual deal. They could prank you. But if anyone else did they would regret it milliseconds later.

For example last weekend You, Cheryl, Toni, Betty and Jughead were all in Jugheads trailer to binge watch stranger things. Cheryl and Toni had popped out to pick up more snacks after you'd fallen asleep on Cheryl halfway through the last episode. You were wrapped up lying on the sofa. But Jughead decided it would be funny to put some whipped cream on your hand and tickle your nose, leading you to smack yourself in the face and become covered. Waking yourself up. Unfortunately for him Cheryl and Toni also walked in at this moment. Let's just say it did not end well for him.

Like he now has a black eye.

So anyway Cheryl and Toni love playing pranks on you. They find it adorable when you get scared or annoyed at them. You were currently giving them the silent treatment after they'd made you believe that your house was haunted. Long story.

You walked down the stairs to be greeted with Cheryl and Toni making breakfast. They both smiled at you.

"Hey Cutie, want some pancakes?"Cheryl asked. Offering you a plate.

However instead of taking it you simply looks straight ahead of you and walked towards the cereal. Trying to stay stubborn with the delicious smell of the pancakes.

"Oh so we're still doing the silent treatment?" Toni chuckled for her seat at the table.

You ignored her and went to go sit on the other end of the table.

"Ok ignore us that's fine, we'll just eat all of these pancakes on our own... And this bacon." Cheryl sang waving the plate in front of you. Bending down and tickling your ear with her breath.

"Ugh look we're sorry" She said standing up and sitting opposite you at the table. Toni having now moved to sit next you.

"I still can't believe you don't have milk with your cereal, Weirdo." Toni said ruffling your hair as she sat down.

"Toni we're trying to get her to like us again stop bullying her." Cheryl scolded.

"Oh please she loves us. But seriously nerd you give us the silent treatment any longer and I will stuff you in a locker." Toni said glaring at you.

You stared back and were locked into a staring contest giving toni giving her a tough look. A few seconds later she crumbled.

"Omg are you actually mad we're so sorry we love you so much. I sware to god you better talk to us we can't last without you." Toni said pouting, grabbing you shoulders.

As hard as you tried you couldn't fight the smile that took over your face. You pushed Toni off and looked away.

"Haha did you see that she loves usss" Toni laughed squeezing you from behind . Cheryl walking round the table to join in.

"Come on lets go watch a movie" said Cheryl .

"No way I'm still mad at you guys"You said crossing your arms.

"We'll watch a marvel movie?" Cheryl tried.

You still shook you head with a pout.

Cheryl just nodded at Toni then walked into the living room as Toni dragged your chair out from under the table then lifted you over her shoulder amd carried you into the living room. Despite your best efforts to escape which were met by a swift slap on the ass and a giggle from Toni.

She placed you down next to Cheryl and sat next to you Cheryl pulling a blanket over you all as you sat there plotting how to get revenge.

The next day

Soooo you has finally gotten revenge on Cheryl and Toni .

But accidently.

The point had been to get revenge on Toni first. You had put green hair dye in  Tonis conditioner. (Comes out in one wash your not that mean) but what you hadn't expected was for Cheryl to be showering with Toni .

Not sure why I didn't see that coming.

Anyway as you can probably tell Cheryl takes pride in her hair. And she was not fond of the green streaks. Toni was definitely not happy either . Pink and bright green did not go well on her.

Anyway so after you had swapped the conditioner you ran to your room and pushed your desk in front of the door as you heard the shower turning on, laughing to yourself.

However ten minutes later you heard a scream.

"Y/NNNNNNNNN!!!" but it wasn't Toni.

It was Cheryl.

You gulped as everything went silent for a few minutes before you heard pounding on your door.

"Y/n"

Huh they sounded surprisingly calm.

"Yes?"I answered

"Open the door" Cheryl requested calmly.

"Whyyy?" I asked.

"BECAUSE YOU DIED OUR HAIR GREEN" Cheryl screamed through the door.

"What no I didn't" you yelled back.

"Then who did? " Toni asked pushing on the door . The desk starting to move as I crawled under my bed.

"Ummmm Archie ? " I suggested wincing as the door was pushed open.

Everything went quiet as you listened for footsteps.

Suddenly you felt two hand wrap around your ankles and pull you out from under the bed. You looked up and gave them a cute smile and puppy dog eyes. Trying not to laugh when you noticed their green hair .

But they on the other hand did not look happy.

They both glared down at you with there arms crossed.

"So babe, what shall we do to the little nerd." Toni said tilting her head with an evil smile.

"Hmmm I don't know TT. We could die her hair like she died ours."Cheryl suggested.

"Yep or we could tickle her for an hour" Toni suggested.

"Orrrr burn her books." Cheryl suggested.  You gulped as there was a moment of silence before a friendlier smile came over there faces.

"Buttt were not gonna do any of that" Toni laughed as she grabbed your hands and helped you up.

"What? Your not gonna kill me?" You asked confused.

"No babe you were getting revenge for our pranks were proud of you" Cheryl said hugging you from behind and kissing your cheek making you squirm.

"What no you should be mad not proud." You said frustrated.

"Oh really haha cos if anyone else that wasn't you did that I would have killed them. " Toni said raising they're eyebrows.

"You would never kill meee " You laughed. Walking up to Toni and hugging her.Resting your head on her chest.

"The reason we kept praying you was because we wanted to make sure you would stand up for yourself eventually" Cheryl explained joining the hug.

"And because your angry face is really cute" Toni laughed ruffling your hair.

Two weeks later.

"I still dont believe you pranked Cheryl and Toni." Veronica insisted as you Cheryl Toni and Betty were having a girls day at thistlehouse.

"Yh no way your too innocent" Betty agreed. You three were sat in the living room while Cheryl and Toni were in the kitchen getting snacks.

"Oh yh fine then I'll mess with them now" You said smiling.

"Hey Toni, Cheryl could I habe some water please?"

The moving around in the kitchen stopped as they both froze. Suddenly they both ran in, Toni holding a bottle of water. She slowly passed it to you as they both looked down at you.

"Thank you Toni" You smiled as you took a sip.

They gave you a weird look before slowly retreating back to the kitchen.

"What the hell was that?" Veronica asked.

You smiled as you got up and eld them towards the kitchen. Pointing towards Cheryl amd Toni who were frantically running round the kitchen, rifling through the cupboards and looking throught the calender trying to see if they'd forgotten anything.

"I only ever call them by their first names when I'm mad"  You giggled causing Veronica and Betty to laugh. The sound of laughing case Cheryl and Toni to look up and catch onto the situation . Chasing you Betty and Veronica to gulp before quickly running out of the room.

Out of the house in fact. Trying to get to Veronicas car with two pissed of serpents on their tail.

Chpni x reader anniversary

Toni and Cheryl were the great love story of riverdale high.Through all the varchie and bughead breakups and all of the murders and serial killers the couple had stayed strong. And tomorrow was the 1 year anniversary of when they got together. The 1 year anniversary or the movie date you had tricked them into. Which is why you felt so much pressure to give them the perfect day.

You had spent months planning everything out.

-First they'd get a breakfast in bed with all their favourites

- Then smithers would drive them to the bookstore (a romantic private date would be set up)

-Then they will be taken to the football field where I had planned to do a routine with the Vixens in Cheryl and Tonis honour.

- Then they will be taken to a picnic by sweetwater River where there will be easels and paints.

-And finally they will return to thistlehouse where I will have set up a private screening of love Simon under the stars (the movie they watched on their first date)

The thing I was currently stuck on was what to get them as a present.Veronica was coming over soon to help me brainstorm but as of yet I had nothing. Cheryl and Toni had gone to pops for a pre anniversary date so I was currently pacing up and down the stairs. Something Cheryl constantly scolds me for as I could get hurt. Honestly I'm not the clumsy

My head was pounding as I opened my eyes to be met by the harsh light on the ceiling of the hospital room.

I could vaguely hear Veronicas voice calling my name and could see flickers of raven hair above me as my vision became less blurry.

"V? What happened?" I croaked. My throat felt rough.

Veronica handed me a glass of water as she began to explain

"You fell down the stairs you clumsy idiot." She replied rolling her eyes.

"The doctor said you have a concussion ,a broken ankle and a sprained wrist. They want to keep you until tomorrow night for observation." She explained

"What tomorrow night no I can't it's Toni and Cheryl's anniversary tomorrow." You replied trying to sit up but Veronica held you down.

" Y/n your hurt I'm sure they will be more worried about that then they're anniversary." She said shaking her head.

"Wait have you told them yet? " You asked frantically.

"No you know they'd be down here already if I had. I waited a little until you woke up so as to not make them more worried then they needed to be." She explained.

"You can't tell them" You said quickly.

"What are you insane they'll kill me! And then you" Veronica replied.

It was true you had learned from past experience to tell Cheryl or Toni when your hurt or ill (Chapter 7)

"I know, I know but they won't enjoy there day otherwise. Come on V I've already booked and arranged everything. All you'd have to do is help smithers set up the movie night  under the stars and I've already got everything for it. I promise I won't let them blame you at all. Please V they do everything for me . Let me do this for them. "I ranted giving Veronica the puppy dog eyes.

"Ok fine I won't tell them. Well have send smithers over with a breakfast from pops and ill go make sure everything is set up at the bookstore and the house tomorrow. But what about the Vixens routine?" She asked still unsure.

"Ugh I forgot. Ummmm just show them the video from last practise it can be a surprise wirh breakfast." I proposed.

"Okie this might actually work. But if they get suspicious for a second."She warned

"Yh yh you can tell them" I agreed.

"And I'm telling them straight after love Simon.Because you should be leaving the hospital around then so if they want to they can come pick you up."

Veronica agreed.

"Yesssss okie thank you Veronica I love youuuuu" I said leaning over and hugging her before wincing in pain at my ribs.

"Woah what was that are you OK?"She asked concerned.

"No I'm good don't worry probably just a bruise" I said

"Now I gotta get online and look for a present for Cheryl and Toni. Thank god for next day delivery." I laughed grabbing my phone from beside the bed. Ignoring the pain in my side.

The next day I was woken up by my phone ringing . I winced as I got up the pain had now spread across my chest. I looked at my phone and winced. It was Toni. Oh no they knew. I also saw a text from Veronica.

V - I TOLD THEM YOUR SETTING UP FOR TODAY

I sighed in relief before picking up the phone and smiled through the pain as I answered the phone.

"Hey Toni"

"Hey nerd, your on speaker with me and Cher." She explained

"Hey Tiny" I heard Cheryl say.

"Are you guys having a good day?" I asked trying to hide the pain in my voice.

"The best. The breakfast was amazing babe and Veronica told us you've planned surprises for us today and they showed us the video. Which by the way Cheryl is pretty pissed about. "Toni laughed.

"What why?" I asked.

"Well excuse me shortie but I seem to remember you telling me that you cant dance for the life of you and that one time I tried to get you to audition me and Toni had to drag you there kicking and screaming and then you sat on the floor reading the whole time" Cheryl said . I could hear Toni laughing in the background.

"Yh but this was for you guys its different and no I'm not auditioning for the Vixens this year." I said before Cheryl had a chance too.

" No audition needed babe and we'll see. We have our ways." Cheryl said. I could hear the smile in her voice.

"Whatever. Anyway you guys should go you need to get ready for the first surprise. " I laughed.

"You really didn't have to do any of this you know" Toni chimed in.

"Of course I do I love you guys. "

"Awww we love you too nerd. Will you be there?" Toni asked as I heard them moving around.

"Uh no I can't sorry I have to set up some stuff for tonight." I replied.

"Fine but we'll see you definitely see you tonight right. Don't think we won't drag you kicking and screaming again. Especially if your overworking yourself." She reied sternly.

"Yh I know don't worry and yh you'll see me tonight " I relied giggling. As we all said our goodbyes.

Third person pov

Toni and Cheryl had spent all day being driven around by smithers to all of the surprises y/n had planned. It was arguably the best day if their life. Except for the fact y/n hadn't been there. For their anniversary present y/n had ordered them heart necklaces with a T for Cheryl and a C for Toni.

They were currently watching love Simon whilst Veronica was pacing around the house stressed. She hadn't been able to get in contact with y/n since she had spoken to Toni and Cheryl this morning. She was going to kill her is she was just trying to dodge telling Cheryl and toni about her accident.

Outside Toni and Cheryl were cuddled up on the grass watching the movie, reminiscing about their first date.

"Remember the race when we first met?" Cheryl asked smiling.

"How could I forget? Out of the way cha cha. I was born for this moment" Toni imitated laughing as Cheryl smacked her shoulder laughing.

"I'll never be able to thank y/n enough for setting us up on that movie date." Cheryl smiled.

"Hey next week will technically be the anniversary of us three becoming friends. You know that first time we held her hostage on movie night " Toni laughed.

"Oh my gosh TT we have to do something special."

"Yh of course.We'll spoil her rotten. We could have a marvel movie marathon ooh and get her a necklace that matches ours." Toni said

"Ooh and get her anything she wants from the bookstore. Ooh and take her to the carnival it'll be in town next week." Cheryl said getting excited.

"Definitely. Speaking of that little nerd, where is she?" She asked as Veronica walked out to them looking pale and shaking.

"Guys we have to go." Veronica said tears prickling her eyes.

"What what's wrong " Cheryl said grabbing Tonis hand.

Veronica took a deep breath before explaining.

" Yesterday Y/n fell down that stairs. I came over to help plan today and I found her unconscious so I brought her to the hospital and everything was fine. She only had a few minor injuries and they wanted to keep her in till tomorrow night. So she convinced me to help with today and then we'd tell you now."

Toni and Cheryl were overcome with worry. They'd already stood up and made they're way over to Veronica ready to speed to the hospital. Cheryl ran into the house to get the car keys

"Why the hell wouldn't she tell us this,  why the hell wouldn't you tell us this? Ugh I'm gonna kill her." Toni exclaimed

"I can't find the damn keys." Cheryl yelled from inside the house. You could hear the tears in her voice. Toni ran inside and Veronica followed after them. Stopping them once they reached the car.

"Guys wait I need to tell you something else. " Veronica said taking a deep breath and raking the keys from Cheryl's hand.

"Well y/n hadn't been answering her phone all day. And well. And the hospital just called. Something happened ... "

3 months later

"And your Lockers just down here." Betty explained, as her and Veronica were giving the new girl a tour of riverdale high

They stood at her locker explaining her timetable before the girl got shoved to the side. Toni storming past her.

"Sorry about her." Veronica sighed.

" That was Toni Topaz. Just try to avoid her." Betty explained.

"And that is Cheryl Blossom" Betty said as she nodded towards the herd of Vixens walking down the hallway. Cheryl leading them.

The HBIC walked up to the three with a fake smile.

"Betty, miss another Vixens rehearsal and your off the team." She stated.

" What Cheryl she told you she was visiting her sister in hospital." Veronica defended.

" Was I talking to you?" Cheryl sassed  turning to storm off but stopping as she saw the new girl stood their. The bitchy look dropping from her face. She looked at the small girl holding her books. Going pale as if she'd seen a ghost. Then quickly shook off any look of emotion and stalked down the hallway.

"What was that about?" She asked. Turning to Betty and Veronica. Who both shared a look of sadness before replying.

"Okie so last year. Cheryl and Toni were the it couple of riverdale high. And they kind of adopted our friend y/n into their relationship. She was Cheryl's best friend and is the one that actually set then up. They were a trio. You couldn't have two without the other." Veronica explained. Tears coming to her eyes as she stopped to take a breath . Betty putting her hand on Veronicas shoulder before continuing for her.

"Well a few months ago. Y/n had an accident. On Cheryl and Tonis anniversary as well. Veronica found her and took her to the hospital and everything seemed fine but we'll. She passed away the next day. Toni and Cheryl got there just in her final moments and she died in their arms."

Betty explained taking a deep breath.

"You kind look like her. I guess thats why Cheryl got upset when she saw you. Maybe try to avoid her and Toni." Betty suggested before quickly directing the girl to her next class and consoling Veronica.

And so as the greatest friendship Cheryl and Toni had ever been a part of died. So did their Love story.

Toni finds you crying in the bathroom.

'NOOOOOOOO DONT GO IN THERE YOU IDIOT' I screamed at the tv as the girl in the movie walked TOWARDS the place where the sound was coming from.

And just my luck as soon as that happened I heard a door creak open in the house.

Cheryl and Toni had gone out on a date and I was home alone. And of course me being an idiot decided to watch a horror movie. I was currently sat in the kitchen halfway through a pint of Ben and jerrys Ah the joys of being single on a Saturday night.

'Ugh I'm such a hypocrite' I muttered under my breath as I wrapped myself up in the blanket and waddled out into the hallway.

The lounge door was wide open.

Cheryl always complains when me and Toni leave any doors open as it 'let's in a draft' . I'd like to see the ghost deal with Cheryl's wrath when she's cold.

I whimpered as I heard a scratching and heavy breathing coming from the lounge. 

Last time something like this happened I'd been home alone and heard a scratching and hissing noise from the Bathroom.

Nana rose had told spent the day before telling me about the ghost stories of thistlehouse and I was not risking it.

I'd frantically called Cheryl and her and Toni had rushed home thinking someone had broken in. Turns out the neighbours cat had climbed through the open window and was fighting with the shower curtain.

They still tease me about that dayyyy.

Anyway I'm not doing that again so I took a deep breath and reached out towards the doorknob. Suddenly I felt a cold hand grab my wrist from inside the lounge. I screamed before yanking my wrist away and jumping back into the hallway dropping the blanket. There was a moment of silence before I felt someone grabbing my waist from behind yelling 'BOO'.

I screamed again and wriggled like crazy trying to get out of their hold. I slowed down as the lights turned on and I heard my two best friends laughing uncontrollably. I looked around to see Cheryl walking out of the lounge wheezing from laughter. And looked behind me to see Toni who still had a tight grip on my waist also wheezing. I shrugged her off before picking up my blanket and storming up to my room.

'You guys are mean' I yelled as I walked into my room slamming the door behind me and diving beneath the covers.

I then heard the sounds of heels and boots jogging up the stairs after me. I heard my door creak open and Cheryl and Toni giggling still as they came over and sat on my bed . I pouted as I turned away from them .

"Awww come on babe I'm sorry it was Toni's idea." Cheryl said with a smile.

"Heyyy I don't need her being mad at me" Toni said with a pout.

"Tough" I said sticking my tongue out at Toni and turning over before pulling Cheryl down onto the bed with me and cuddling into her.

"It's just me and Cheryl now we're done." I said giving Toni a fake angry look.

Toni let out a huge gasp

"Nope you couldn't get rid of me if you tried." She said with a stubborn look and a laugh before jumping on top of me and Cheryl, straddling me.

"Besides, it should be me that's mad at you" she said looking down at me. Cheryl laughing as she looked at the scene before her.

"Why the hell would you hear a noise and not call us hmmmm." Toni said before digging her fingers into my sides. Tickling me.

"Their could've been a murderer in the house and you walked straight towards them ?????." She said tickling me even more. Cheryl joining in now and laughing.

I wriggled underneath Toni as I screamed for them to let me go . Laughing uncontrollably.

"Say I'm sorry Toni. Your my best friend. And I'll let you go. " Toni said still tickling me.

" IM SORRY TONI YOUR MY BEST FRIEND" I screamed giggling. 

"Awww your my best friend too nerd' She said leaning down and kissing my nose.

With a yelp Toni was shoved off me as Cheryl straddled me.

"I'm sorry what did you just say !?!!" Cheryl exclaimed looking down at me giving me her HBIC look.

"Omg your both my best friends please dont tickle me" I begged pouting .

"Awww but it's so fun. "Cheryl teased leaning down and also giving me a kiss on the nose.

"Bullys" I muttered under my breath.

"What was that?" Toni asked putting her hands on my sides again teasing me. .

"Nooo noo nothing" I screamed crawling away.

'You guys just got back from a date shouldn't you be making out or something go away" I said, trying to push them both of me as I lay in bed.

" She's right babe" Toni realised as she reached across the bed and pulled Cheryl's face towards hers as there lips met.

"EWW NO NOT HERE" I screamed shoving them both off the bed. I laughed as they both stumbled out of my room saying goodnight.

The memories of last night made me smile through my tears as I sat in the bathroom stall at school, trying to catch my breath. For the past few weeks Trixie, one of Cheryl's river Vixens had been making comments to me when she walked past. She had even given me a few bruises from when she'd pushed me into the locker several times as well as giving me a punch to the stomach. I hadn't let me affect it until now. I'd been a stereotypical nerd all my life.With my glasses,perfect grades and anxiety I was a perfect target for bullying. However ever since third grade Cheryl had been there to stand up for me. And for the past few months Toni had too.

But Trixie wasn't scared of Cheryl and Toni.

Well she was

But she knows that I wouldn't tell Cheryl and Toni what was going on , so as long as she kept it out of their view she'd be fine.

Anyway back to today. I'd been stood at my locker and Trixie had walked past whispering about how Cheryl and Toni were friends with me because they felt sorry for me and it was just too awkward to ask me to move out. A part of me knew that wasn't true. But a part of me had also wondered if it was. I had always wondered why they were friends with me . The girls where are the top of the social pyramid (quite literally, I mean they are cheerleaders) while I was at the bottom.

I quickly started to dry my tears as. I heard the bathroom door opening from outside the stall.

I instantly froze as I recognised Tonis voice on the phone. I tried to remain quiet praying she wouldn't hear my uneven breathing.

'Yh sure me and Cheryl will be there. And Y/n too but I sware Jughead if any of the new serpents hit on y/n or Cheryl there will be hell to pay. Yes I know Y/ns single but she's not going out with anyone me and Cheryl haven't given the shovel talk to first"

I smiled upon hearing this now feeling reassured, remembering how protective they are of me. I went to pull out my phone from my bag to check my make up however it dropped and hit the floor bouncing out of the stall.

Maybe she wouldn't recognise the case ?

"Y/n?" I heard Toni ask from the other side of the door.

Or not

"Hey TT" I said trying to sound happy.

"Open the door" she said

"Why" I asked confused

"Cos your crying" she said simply.

Damn it how did she know.

I reluctantly opened the door knowing in the end she wouldn't give me a choice.

"What's wrong bb?" She asked her tough look instantly softening as she saw in my state. Opening her arms.

I walked forwards and fell into them, feeling better already. My head buried in her chest (not like that 😆)

She rubbed my back as I sniffled. She pulled away and placed her hands on my shoulders looking into my eyes wiping away a stray tear.

"Y/n what happened?" She asked softly.

After a moment of silence she pulled away from me and wet some tissue before wiping away my tears and starting to redo my mascara.

A few minutes later I was looking good as new.

"Now this is the part where you tell me who made you cry and I go beat there ass" she explained giving me a smile.

I giggled although I knew she was being serious.

I remained silent.

"Ok nerd I'm being serious now, I know someone did something because otherwise you would be ranting to me about it. Your not telling me because you know I'll go kill someone which means it's bad and your upset so tell me now"

Damn it that girl can read me like a book.

I stood there in shock which confirmed here assumptions.

"Y/n come on. Who.  Made. My. Nerd .Cry". She asked with a stern look on her face .

"Okie fine I'll tell you what happened." I relented knowing she wasn't gonna give up. A look of victory came across tonis face.

"Buttt not till we get home" I explained.

Hopefully delaying Tonis suspension by a day.

"Okie" she agreed as she took my hand and we walked out of the bathroom .

"Where are we going class is that way" I asked pointing in the opposite direction.

She stopped and turned around to look at me.

'Were going to go get Cheryl and go home so you can tell us why your crying" Toni said like it was obvious.

"What no Toni we can't skip, I'll tell you when we get home" I explained before quickly running off to class. Dreading the conversation we'd be having later.

As soon as I stepped into the car park I was pulled towards Cheryl's car by Toni . Cheryl was already sat on the front seat. Without a word Toni opened the door for the back seat and closed it behind me.

"What is going on whys she's so moody. Who pissed her off? " Cheryl asked me before Toni got in the car

"Me" I gulped feeling guilty.

I knew it upset Toni when I lied to her she hates it when I'm upset or hurt and she just wants to protect me but she says she can't do that unless I talk to her about things.

They then pulled me into the car and we drove home.

As soon as we walked into the house I was dragged into the lounge and pushed onto the sofa as they both stood in front of my with there arms crossed .

"Okay someone tell me what the hell is going on here " Cheryl demanded looking across at Toni then down at me.

Toni sighed before looking down at me

" I found Y/n crying in the toilets at lunch and she's refusing to tell me why unitl we got home, well now we're home. So go" she explained with her arms crossed.

"Wait what baby why were you crying" Cheryl said sitting down next to me and giving me a hug. Toni however still stood glaring at me. Don't get me wrong she was a big softie at heart and is completely whipped for me and Cheryl but if being soft doesn't work she'll go full tough love on you.

I took a deep breath.  I hated that they were worried about me and I knew they would take care of it, they were more powerful then Trixie. 

" It's stupid just someone saying mean stuff to me" I laughed lightly feeling like a preschooler.

"What ?!!" Cheryl said grabbing onto my shoulders turning me to face her.  Her HBIC look coming into play . Only not at me this time. Just at the situation.

"Who's bullying you?? " Cheryl asked sternly.

"I mean you guys do " I shrugged with a smile.

"Oh shut up you love us, what's going on ?" Cheryl asked , holding my hand.

" Ok I didn't wanna tell you guys cos I know you'd overreact but yh I guess someone's been bullying me" I said with laugh.

"It's fine I'm not bothered she just says mean stuff and shoves me she only punched me once."

I froze realising what Id just said.

"SHE WHAT?!" Cheryl and Toni both yelled at the same time.

Then I got bombarded with questions like

Are you okay?

Is that why you were crying?

And things like

I'm gonna kill her

And

How the hell could you not tell us about this

"No no guys calm down look the bruises are tiny amd that wasn't why I was crying" I said lifting up my shirt to show them the small bruises on my side and stomach.

As soon as they saw my injuries they instantly turned back into big softies. Cheryl looked me over and Toni came and hugged me from behind. 

I could tell they felt bad they hadn't seem this happening but it wasn't there fault.

"Y/n , no matter how small the bruises are this is not OK, you know that right."

Cheryl explained

"Yh I know I'm sorry I didn't tell you I just didn't want you to overreact. I mean Cher she's your best river Vixen. " I explained.

"Tonis bullying you , I already knew that" Cheryl replied sarcastically earning an eye roll from Toni.

"Wait your on about Trixie. Ugh that bitch she is so dead and she's off the Vixens I don't care your more important" she said. I knew there was no point in arguing with her at this point. 

I looked around for Toni but saw sue had slipped out and was in the hallway looking for her serpent jacket.

I quickly jumped up and went after her with Cheryl following.

"TT what are you doing?" I asked.

"What do you think I'm doing I'm gonna go sort her out. Don't worry just let me take care of it. " Toni insisted .

"What no Toni stop please. " I said grabbing her arm and pulling her back, giving her big puppy dog eyes.

" Guys please it's not been a good day can we just cuddle and watch a movie" I begged giving the puppy dog eyes again.

Toni looked at me before shrugging her jacket off , grabbing both of our hands and pulling us into the living room.

We ended up cuddled up together watching some Netflix rom com. Me in the middle and Cheryl and toni holding hands on my stomach.

"Hey cutie just out of interest what did Trixie do today that made you cry?" Cheryl asked.

Ah crap.

"Oh you know just the usual calling me a nerd. "I laughed nervously.

" Yh but that wouldn't have upset you that bad , come on what was it I promise we won't do anything.... Well yet anyway" Cheryl exclaimed.

"Fine" I sighed .

"She was asking why you guys are friends with me when I just embarrass you and that your only friends with me becuase it's too awkward to tell me to back off." I explained looking down at my hands.

Cheryl and Toni both looked at eachother before standing up and kneeling down in front of me.

"Y/n L/n your our best friend and not for a minute are we embarrassed of you. We love you." Cheryl explained.

"You are the sweetest most innocent person in all of riverdale. And also we definitely don't want you to back off. Your kinda part of our relationship in a way. " Toni chimed in.

"Now" she said as they both got up.

The silently gave eachother a look before Cheryl ran into the kitchen and Toni brought me over the tv controller and a blanket. Cheryl came in with some snacks and put them on the sofa next to me.Then they both bent over and gave me a kiss on each cheek.

" We'll be back soon babe we'll bring back a pizza" They said. Before shrugging on their serpent jackets and walking out the front door.

You are Betty's best friend and are crushing have been crushing on Veronica since she arrived in riverdale. You three are really close but you still struggle to talk to her because of how shy you are. Betty decides to help, much to your dismay.

This is set around season 1 and 2 and Archie and Veronica never get together, instead Betty is still crushing on Archie and he likes her back. (Grundy never happened)

Y/n's pov

As I slowly walked through the halls of Riverdale high I kept my head down. I have known the people around me for years yet I only know half of their names and I'm sure even less of them know mine. I generally try to keep to myself. However I wouldn't class myself as a loner, more the shy nerd who prefers fantasy to reality and always has her head in a book. My only close friends being Betty and her group. Me and Betty met in preschool so I find myself more confident around her, more comfortable to be my nerdy self, meaning she has to listen to all my rants about Marvel or whatever book I'm currently reading. But she can't complain after all the lovesick rants I've heard about Archie.

All of this aside me and Betty have always been there for eachother, she was the first person I came out to and I was there through all the nights she would cry over Polly and her family. It was the two of us against the world.

Until Veronica arrived in Riverdale.

However things did not go how i thought. When Betty first told me she would be showing the Veronica Lodge around thought that she would give the tour and that was it. Veronica would instantly bond with Cheryl and the cheerleaders and become the queen bee. But as soon as I saw her in pops that night with Betty and Archie my opinion of her changed.

Flashback

I slowly sipped on my chocolate milkshake as I sat with Betty and Archie, smiling at how red my friends face was becoming while talking to her crush and at how painfully obvious it was about the unspoken love between the two.

As Betty began to tell Archie how she has been thinking about them and their friendship I suddenly felt awkward at how I was sandwiched inbetween the wall and Betty so not wanting to ruin the moment by asking her to get up so I could leave them alone I got 'The seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo' out of my bag and began reading. The conversations happening between the characters drowning out my friends voices. That was at least until I heard a soft unfamiliar voice next to us, asking Pop about an order for Lodge.

I looked up and was met with a pair of beautiful brown eyes looking back at me. The girl gave me a kind smile as she stood at our table, as I saw her eyes flick down to my book I suddenly became embarrassed and kept my head down ,realising how antisocial I must have looked.

I was pulled out of my thoughts by Betty nudging my side, pointing her head towards Veronica. I looked back up to the girl with a stunned look .She giggled and gave me a small smile before repeating her question.

'I just asked how the onion rings were here' she laughed.

Shocked that she was even looking at me,I struggled to reply.

'Really good' I replied quietly, shocked I didn't stutter.

I felt myself blush as she smiled and nodded at my reply then ordered a side of onion rings.

As she began to talk with Betty and Archie I once again tried to keep to myself and get my nerves under control simply nodding as she asked us if we went to riverdale high then going back to staring at the front cover of my book that was now laying forgotten on the table.

'Veronica Lodge'

As I heard her introduce herself I was filled with shock, this was the girl who me and Betty were showing around tomorrow. Well Betty was showing her around but I know she would drag me there too, trying to encourage me to be more social. As she shook hands with Archie and began talking to Betty I began to get nervous and gave a pleading look to Betty .She seemed to get the hint and introduced me so I wouldn't have too.

As she declined Archies invite to join us I felt both disappointed and relieved. Before she left she looked over at me and gave me a warm smile.

'That's a great book by the way' she said in a soft voice, then gave me a quick wink and walked away.

After she left both Betty and Archie teased me relentlessly about how red I was , both knowing I had developed some type of feelings towards the girl.

Back to present

I smiled as I replayed the memory from a few weeks ago in my head.Since then Veronica had hung around with us a lot and I found myself becoming more confident around her. I had even ranted to her about Wandavision once. She made a comment about how cute I was when I talked about it.

Her and Betty had also convinced me to join the River Vixens. However by convinced I mean they literally dragged me to the gym. There were several threats from Betty about burning my favourite book but Veronicas puppy dog eyes alone had me agreeing.

I was once again pulled from my thoughts as I felt a familiar raven haired girl appear at my left and loop her arm through mine as I felt my face already beginning to blush.

'I though we were meeting at my locker?' She asked in an adorably confused voice. As she pulled us to stop and stand by a classroom door.

'We are ... I was just heading there now' I said quietly, proud I didn't stutter.

'Well you walked straight past me' She said a she giggle shaking her head.

' Honestly, you need to look where your going or one day your gonna get yourself hurt' she scolded softly , looking into my eyes.

'Oh haha sorry' I said rubbing the back of neck giggling.

'Adorable' I heard her whisper under her breath with a smile.

'We should get to the locker rooms , Cheryl's gonna kill us if we're late' She said.

Once again looping her arm through mine and pulling me down the hall. As I stood still flustered from the Adorable comment.

As we strolled into the Vixens locker room we were shocked to find the usually busy area completely empty.

'Oh crap, it must have started early' I said panicked as I did not want to suffer the wrath of Cheryl.

'Hey hey don't worry, she didn't tell us so we did nothing wrong. Maybe everyone else is just late.' Veronica said , rubbing my arm, trying to reassure me.

' Let's just get dressed and go to the gym' She said with a smile.

I nodded and slowly walked over to my locker next to Veronicas. I opened it up to get my cheerleading uniform out trying to reassure myself that Cheryl would not be mad. She was really scary.

I jumped as I heard Veronica gasp beside me. I looked over and saw her looking at the inside of my locker. In it were pictures of various movie characters, as well as pictures of me with my friends, including one of me and Veronica that we had recently taken at Pops. I quickly slammed the locker shut , embarrassed. I'd forgotten I'd put that in there ,what if she thought it was creepy.

'Awwwww you have a picture of us , that's so cute' she gushed with a big smile on her face. As she gave me tight hug. I once again began to blush.

'Can I see the others?' She asked as I was now holding the locker door closed . Stupid faulty lock.

I suddenly shook my head with a pout , embarrassed that she might also see all the movie pictures, even though she already knows I'm a nerd.

She smirked and squinted her eyes at me .Giving me a determined look as she tilted her head .

Uh oh . This was the same look that had she'd given me the other night.

Flashback

I sat next to Veronica as 'Notting Hill' played on the tv. I had been fighting to stay awake for the past 20 minutes. Personally I didn't like rom coms , I prefer superhero films or just tv shows .I also found then unrealistic but that just might be me being bitter about my non existent love life. But this was my first sleepover alone with V and I wanted her to be happy so I agreed to watch it.

I suddenly heard a loud gasp next to me and felt a pillow get thrown at my head. I jolted awake and sat up , looking over to see Veronica glaring at me with an offended look on her face.

'How can you be asleep?!! This is one of the most romantic movies of all time? ' She exclaimed.

I giggled at the shocked look on her face and quietly replied

'I don't know, I think Rachel getting off the plane for Ross is better' I said with a small smile on my face.

Veronica gasped loudly again and glared at me. My smile dropped as she got up from her seat on the floor in front of the tv and began making her way over to me on the sofa. She smirked and squinted her eyes at me, giving me a determined look as she tilted her head.

Before I knew it she has pinned me to the sofa, kneeling on my arms and looking down at me with an evil smile. She slowly leant down and whispered in my ear .

'Take that back'

I was basically going into gay panic at this point but for some reason I replied with a 'never'.

Veronica sighed and pouted but just as I though she was going to get up she suddenly began relentlessly tickling me .Running her hands all over my ribs and stomach ignoring my squeals. Only shouting over my laughs for me to take it back . As I felt myself becoming breathless she stopped . She looked into my eyes. That evil smirk still on her face .

'Now ,are you ready to admit that this movie is sweet and romantic or do I need to find out if you feet are ticklish.' She threatened once again holding her hands up in the air. I gasped knowing my feet were extremely ticklish and whispered what she wanted me to say.

'I'm sorry what was that I couldn't hear you?' She said with laugh

' Notting hill is sweet and romantic' I said, slightly louder.

Veronica smile at her victory and looked down at me .

'Sorry about that' She said with a laugh, then she leant down and kissed my forehead .I once again felt a blush on my cheeks.

I felt my eyes travel down to her lips and noticed hers lingering on mine too. I slowly felt her beginning to lean in before we were interrupted by the sound of the oven going off.

' Oh the pizza I forgot' she said with a laugh as she jumped off me and ran to the kitchen . Leaving me on the couch flustered .

'Greys anatomy is more romantic tho I mumbled as I sat up.

'What was that?' She shouted from the kitchen.

'Nothing' I yelled back , not wanting a repeat of what just happened. Well not the tickling part anyway.

Present day

I quickly began to retreat as I saw Veronica step towards me and reach her hand towards my ribs. Instantly opening the locker for her, she looked at me with a smirk as I once again began blushing .She smiled as she saw a picture of me Betty, Archie and Jughead as kids. Her smile turned into a smirk as she saw a scene from Notting Hill amongst the pictures of scenes from my favourite movies at the back if my locker .

'Ha I knew you'd like it' She stated with a victorious smile. I had mainly out that in there because of made me think if Veronica but I had to admit that the movie had grown on me.

'I still think Rom coms are unrealistic though, I mean I dont even have the confidence to tell you I like you now , let alone after a big fight . ' I gulped as I realised what I had just said . Fear consumed me as I froze on the spot and quickly looked down to the floor . I had just told Veronica I liked her . We hadn't even known eachother for a month and we were becoming really good friends and I've ruined it. I was consumed by panic as I realise I could have ruined Betty's friendship with Veronica too .

I was brought out of my worries by the feeling of a soft hand on my chin, gently lifting my head up so that I was gazing into those beautiful brown eyes.

'Don't worry, I haven't had the confidence to tell you I like you either. I'll admit that part is a little unrealistic sometimes.' She said with a loving smile as she tucked a stray piece of hair being my ear. Before leaning in and giving me a soft kiss on the lips. She slowly pulled back and looked onto my eyes.

'Y/n , you are the most adorable little nerd I have ever met. And before you get insulted that I called you a nerd I want you to know I mean it as a compliment. I really like watching you rant about Marvel and watching you cute expressions when your reading a book. I really like the way you will sit through a Rom com because you know it makes me happy and how flustered you get when I compliment you. Exactly like you are now. But most importantly I really like you. I was hoping that maybe you would like to go to the movies with me on Friday? We can can watch the new Doctor Strange and I promise if anything bad happens to Wanda I'll listen to you rant about it afterwards and cuddle you during the film'

At this point I was as red as a tomato. Scratch that I was even worse .I stood there with my mouth open as I held onto Veronicas hand that had moved it's way down to my waist . Suddenly realising I had been quiet for quite some time I suddenly began stuttering out an answer

'Uh .. yh ..I mean ... yes definitely ... Sorry V I would definitely love to go ... kinda scared for the movie tho ... But yes definitely '

Veronica cut me off with a laugh and a peck on my lips. Stopping my nervous ramble .

The sound of a cough at the doorway cut us off as we both jumped apart and saw none other then Cheryl Blossom stood at the doorway. I quickly hid behind Veronica , not wanting to face the gingers wrath as we were definitely late for practise.

'What are you two doing in here , I told Betty to tell you practise was cancelled today' She said in a frustrated tone.

Me and Veronica both gasped as we realised that Betty had probably 'forgotten' to tell us knowing we would be alone in here together.

'Sorry Cheryl we weren't told' Veronica explained as she pulled me out from behind her.

'Ok whatever 'She said harshly. Then in a softer tone she added

'I wont tell anyone by the way. Even though it's been painfully obvious that you two lovebirds are crushing on eachother.'She said with a laugh as she walked out.

Me and Veronica both gathered our things and walked out, holding hands.

'Ok I need to go speak to my English teacher so why don't you go and meet everyone in the cafeteria and I'll see you there'. Veronica exclaimed as she gave you a peck on the lips. She knew we how much you hated talking to teachers.

'Finally' We heard a voice say behind us. As we turned around we saw Archie stood there with a big smile plastered on his face .

'You knew we liked eachother?' Me and V both said, shocked that everyone seemed to know except us .

'Of course I did, congrats guys. Ive gotta go but i want details later'He said with a laugh as he headed to football practise.

'Hey Archie' I called after him , an evil idea popping into my head .

'Betty wants you to meet her at Pops after school. She has something she needs to tell you' I explained

'Ok tell her I'll be there 'he shouted back as he jogged to practise.

'But y/n we're meant to meet Betty at Pops... ?'

She gasped and lightly slapped my shoulder realising my plan. Shocked to see this new side to me.

'She did it to us' I replied with a quiet giggle.

Veronica giggled and leaned in to peck me on the lips

'And I'm so glad she did'.

Veronicas pov

I gushed as I saw my girlfriend slowly begin to wake up ,rubbing her eyes and giving the cutest yawn .

'Welcome back to the land of the living Babe ' I said with a laugh knowing she hated mornings

She suddenly gasped realising I had woken up before her

'How long have you been awake ?' She asked as she smiled back at me

'Ummm about an hour ago' I said blushing ,she looked back at me with the cutest pout on her face

'Babe I wanted you to wake me up it's your birthday, you shouldn't have to wait around for me. 'she explained.

'I know but you looked so peaceful I didn't have the heart to ruin that' I replied.

'Well I'm going to make it up to you' she said with a huff giving me a quick peck on the lips before climbing out of bed and going into the bathroom to get dressed

'Y/nkins you really don't ha...'

'No no it's your birthday and I'm your girlfriend so I'm going to treat you' she said cutting me off .

'Okay if you insist 'I said with a chuckle giving in as I knew how stubborn she was

'Now I am going to go and get you breakfast from pops and give you breakfast in bed .'she said with a proud smile

'Okay cutie thank you drive safe' I said as I have her a kiss .She rolled her eyes at my protectiveness

'I will bye babe happy birthday' she replied as she left the room

I snuggled down on her side of the bed and played a game on my phone

Y/n's pov

After ordering breakfast at pops I looked around before Archie and Fred called me over to join them .

'Hey y/n isn't it Veronicas birthday today?' Fred asked me as I sat down

'Yh it is I'm just getting us breakfast' I replied .

'Hey guys do you think Veronica will like this I got it for her birthday 'I asked pulling out a red case and opening it up ,inside was a golden locket in the shape of a heart containing a picture of me and V .Engraved on the heart were the words 'my heart belongs to you'

'Y/n ,Veronica is gonna love that'Archie said smiling

'Thanks Arch' I replied feeling relieved . I had never really bought jewellery before and had to save up for months for this so am nervous to give it to her .Then pops called my order so I began to get up .

'See you later guys have good day 'I said.

However as I was walking towards the counter I heard the bell on the door ring violently and saw a man wearing a black hood step in .I stopped as I noticed him pull a gun out of his pocket and point it towards pops head

'Pops run' I shouted alerting everyone in the diner including the shooter .I gulped in fear as I looked into his eyes and saw no emotion whatsoever just a heartless stare .

A deafening bang echoed through the restaurant as I felt a sudden jolt of pain in my stomach. I looked to down to be greeted with a huge stain of red on my shirt .My vision started spinning as I began getting dizzy and weak on my feet . I could vaguely here the voice of Archie and Fred calling my name as I felt someone catch me from falling . I tried to steady myself as I looked and saw a flash of Archies ginger hair as he held me .I handed him the red case and with my last breath I whispered the message I had been wanting to say for months into his ear. I saw him nod with a weak smile as tears poured down his face as I began to lose consciousness.

Veronicas pov

It's been nearly an hour since y/n left and I was beginning to get concerned .As I paced the living room I heard my phone ringing from the bedroom ,i raced in the and saw Archie was calling me and picked up.

'Archie have you heard from y/n she left for pops over an hour ago im really worried' I explained I could hear Archies heavy breathing  on the line it sounds like he had been crying .This caused a sense of panic to flood over me .

'Veronica my dad's on the way to pick you up but right now I need to tell you something .I want you to take a deep breath and sit down'

'Ok?'I replied ,slowly sitting down dreading what he was about to say.

'There was a shooting at pops .Y/n ... she ... she tried to protect pop and ... I'm sorry veronica but she got hurt and it's not good .I'm at the emergency room with her now and I think you should get down here '

By now tears had flooded my eyes and I couldn't see clearly. I was breathing heavily as I began to let out sobs over the girl I had fallen in love with.

By now I hadn't even noticed that Fred had used y/n's key to let himself in and was holding me in his arms as sobs wracked through my body .

'I love her 'I said in between my crys

About an hour later I was sitting in the emergency room holding Betty and Archies hands as we waited for the nurse to give us an update .

I was a nervous wreck as memories of me and y/n flooded through my mind

Me asking her on a date because she was too nervous

Us cuddled up on the sofa watching disney movies

Us having food fights every time we try to bake

'Veronica' I heard Archie calling my name pulling me out of my thoughts.

'Before she passed out y/n gave me this .Its your birthday present 'He explains handing me a red case .I released Bettys hand from my grip and with shakily opened it up and saw the most beautiful heart shaped locket. Tears ran down my cheeks as I opened up the locket .Inside was a photo of me and y/n .It was taken after our first date .I turned over the locket to the message 'my heart belongs to you' engraved on the back .

'She also wanted me to tell you that she loves you 'He said with tears in his eyes .

Before I had time to process what had just happened i spotted a nurse walking towards us. We all stood up as she began to explain y/n's condition . We found out that she was in a coma and if she woke she would have a full recovery .Smiles suddenly covered Fred ,Archie and Bettys faces but the only thing I could focus on was the word if .

Betty seemed to notice this and held me her arms whispering comforting words in my ear .

I gathered up the courage to slowly walk to y/n's room .I opened the door and saw my girlfriend lying on the bed .She looked so small .

I walked towards her hospital bed and gently took her hand .

'I love you too y/n .So much .I want to spend the rest of my life with you .I know that you are going to wake up because you are so strong .You can't leave me and I swear to god if you die on me I will bring you back and kill you myself and then bring you back again so that we can live happily and spend the rest of our lives together .'I said to her my voice breaking and tears rolling down my face .I slowly leaned forward and placed a gentle kiss on her head all the while clutching the locket she got me.

This is the girl I want to spend the rest of my life with . I just hope her life doesn't end here.

'No' she said simply.

'What's she too innocent for? ' Toni asked as she walked in.

'You better not be on about a date' Toni said as she crossed her arms giving you a stern look and a small smile.

You cursed under your breath. You were trying to get Cheryl on your side first and then she could persuade Toni. Although you knew Cheryl first Toni was the most protective of you. She saw you as this small shy nerd that she needed to protect (which you kinda were). You and Cheryl came as a pair and she loved you both.

'Y/n here wants to join the Pretty Poisons ' Cheryl explained with a smirk knowing how this would go.

There was a moment silence and you could feel Tonis stare burning into the side of your head. You winced before looking up at her with an innocent smile.

'Soooo that's a yes? Great. ' You tried as you went to run out of the room before getting pulled back by Cheryl and Toni.

'What hey get back here shortie. ' Toni said gripping your arm.

'Do you realise how dangerous being in a gang is! There's no way we're letting you join.' Before you could defend yourself she cut you off.

' No listen . We love you OK your our best friend and if anything happend to you we wouldn't be able to live with ourselves. Cher's right your too innocent and your tiny you wouldn't be able to fight back if anyone tried anything.' She said scared at the thought of you getting hurt.

You let out a huff as you tore your arm away from Toni and looked down at the floor. Deep down you knew she was right.

'Come on Tiny we're sorry' Cheryl said as she tried to get you to look at them .

'You don't control me you know' you said under your breath .

'I know I'm a nerd but I'm not completely helpless' you said as you stormed out and left the house walking to school instead of getting a ride eith the two girls. Sick of their overprotectiveness. You knew they were only trying to help but you wanted to be able to stick up for yourself.

You heard the beep of a horn as you saw

Archie pull up next to you in his dad's truck.

'Hey, do you need lift?' He asked.

'Oh yes please' You said thankful as you climbed in.

'So how come you aren't getting a ride with Cheryl and Toni? ' he asked

'We had a fight' you sighed

'They wouldn't let me join the Pretty Poisons. So I stormed out like a child. ' You laughed putting you head in your hands.

'You wanted to join a gang ?' Archie gasped.

'Why is everyone so shocked, what am I a kid? ' You asked frustrated .

'Look Cheryl and Toni are just protective of you, they've always been like that and if you got hurt in Toni's gang she would blame herself . And Cheryl well she's lost everyone, her brother and her family, all she has left is you and Toni. As you two drove to school you realised your friend actually had a good point. You and Cheryl had been friends since you were little and you'd helped her get through Jason's death. And as for Toni you were the one that balied on Cheryl at the movies so they could have there first date.

As you and Archie pulled into the school carpark you saw your two best friends stood next to Cheryl's red convertible.

You thanked Archie and walked over to them wracked with guilt.

What if they hated you. All they'd ever done is made you feel loved and you'd thrown it back in their faces.

Deciding to give it some more time you turned around and began walking to class. Before you heard Cheryl's voice behind you.

'Y/N' She yelled .Not an angry yell though, to your surprise.

As you turned around you felt Cheryl body slam into you, her arms wrapping around you tightly. She pulled back and checked you over before slapping you round the back of the head. 'Do that to me again and I sware to god ill tickle you until you can't breathe' She said with a glare and slight smile .

'We figured we'd let you have some time to yourself but then when we drove round school and didn't see you walking we got worried' the redhead explained.

'I'm really sorry red' you said shyly, leaning you head on her shoudler as she pulled you in for another hug.

You noticed Toni hovering behind her with a dissapointed look on her face.

'TT I'm so sorry' You said nearly in tears. As you hid behind Cheryl before she pushed you forward.

You looked up t the pink haired girl.

'I'm so so so so sorry. Please dont be mad at me I didn't mean to hurt you feelings or make you worry. I just don't want to be the helpless neerd you guys always need to protect. I thought that I'd be less of a burden to you guys if I could protect myself' You explained.

'Wait, that's why you wanted to join the Pretty Poisons?' Toni asked giving you a stern look .

Cheryl giggled silently, knowing you'd got yourself in trouble.

Toni grabbed yours and Cheryl's hands and led you both behind a tree, out of the way of everyone else.

She let go of your hands and looked you in the eye her arms in an iron grip on your shoudler.

'Y/n L/n you are not a burden to me or to Cheryl and you never will be. We know we don't have to protect you but we want to. Your our best friend. You got us together, you got us through countless fights and you got us both through really hard times ok. Now it's our turn to look after you. We have realised that your right and we are being controlling so we will back up a bit. And by that i mean like a centimetre but still. Nothing is happening to you on our watch and we are making sure of that, whether you like it or not.' She explained. Looking at you with a smile.

'You got that nerd' She said with a playfully mean look on her face. Her arms crossed and she glared at the girl with a smile.

You giggled and nodded, blushing slightly as you realised how much they cared.

' Also me and TT were talking and we agreed to some compromises' Cheryl spoke up, Toni nodded along, looking unsure though.

'So you will not be involved in any gang activity or trained with any weapons because of how clumsy you are. ' Cheryl laughed as you pouted.

'But you are welcome to come to any archery training at Thistlehouse as well as the occasional meeting. And we will even give you your own jacket, as long as you agree not to where it outside the house.' Cheryl cut younoff before you could protest.

'Ah you either wear the Jacket in the house or not at all , we don't want you painting a target on you back.' She explained as Toni nodded along.

'OK yh that's fair enough' you agreed . As you bounced on you heels slightly, a huge smile breaking across you face . You jumped up to Cheryl and hugged her tightly pulling Toni in as well.
