Free Yourself

Way too often we drift into these complacent mindsets where we be like “Fuck it”. You feel like you’ve lost control of everything goin on in your life, you literally feel like you gone have a heart attack every minute of the day cause ya anxiety be so high, you don’t wanna call nobody cause “they won’t understand” or “nobody cares fr anyway” so you keep it all bottled in. Instead of trying to repair yourself you goin out, smoking, drinking, or whatever your vice may be tryna ease the pain knowing it’s still at the back of your mind... I know the feeling way too well, it’s a very uneasy feeling to have. I didn’t know what to do for the longest, but I actually started meditation. Meditating has helped me on so many different levels, it has helped me understand myself, self awareness, patience with people, more understanding and receptive to listening and so much more, but that’s just one of the main things I do to free myself kind of, and get back to factory settings of myself lol!

But on a serious note, #FreeYourself is a hashtag where we can all share the things we do to free ourselves from our own oppressions, and also a place where people who may not know how to get out of their funk can get motivated!

Am I wrong?

So I’m in the living room sitting on the couch minding my business and my sister comes in and says “are you sleeping in here?” I say “no” and continue on my phone, so she says “well I’m bout to lay down” so I just look at her like that’s nice” so she’s like “you gonna get up?” I’m like “why?” She like “Cause I’m bout to lay down right here” so I’m like “but I’m not done sitting here” she gone get mad “you act like a female” 😑 naw your literally in the living room and I’m still living in it so why you can’t sleep on the bed? Or the floor? What make you feel like you have to claim MY couch as your sleeping spot like it’s just solidified for you, and she always wanna say I’m “weird” but what I find “weird” is how everytime I try to come at her like an “adult” and communicate she doesn’t seem to have understanding enough to see anything outside of what her little puny brain thinks which is sad because then she says things like “it’s never you” (but when it do be me I never have a problem saying it is or how or what or why I feel/do what I do) but she right cause when we bump heads it’s always cause she don’t think about how her actions affect those around her and I’m so tired of it 😡
