In 2016, Revolution Radio released during my first semester of university. It holds a very dear and sentimental place in my heart. Fast forward 8 years, and Saviors releases. I'm in such a different stage of life now- homeowner, with the love of my life and thinking about the next stages of adulthood. In the way that RevRad was the soundtrack for that teenage/student period, Saviors, which IMO is a deeply emotional and sentimental album, is the soundtrack for this new chapter of adulthood. I feel like Green Day has grown with me, and it's beautiful to have that ❤️

Ok I’m gonna be blunt. My expectations for Saviors were through the roof. I know what green day is capable of. I was expecting to be disappointed because of how crappy FOAMF was.

But… this album exceeded my expectations by a longshot! It feels like every previous green day album melded together. It’s so magical, this album is so great and I feel so lucky to be alive at the same time of this release. So, so good!
